Ferid X Reader (Owari No Seraph/Seraph of the End): My Aspiration

Chapter Two: Remembering

Sighing, you put down the picture, back in the dresser.

Hopping onto your bed, you lay down, and closed your eyes.

Before you knew it, you were having that dream again. 

There you were, a small, frail thirteen year old, along with your family, and him, the boy you had a crush on for the longest time. Only, as you were trying to escape the horrid cage the vampires kept the humans in, you heard the faraway noise of somebody walking. As the sound got louder, you froze in fear. There, standing in front of you, was the vampire you have your blood to. The vampire that kept you hostage because your blood was 'one of a kind' or so he said.

It was Ferid Bathory. The 7th protagenator.

"My my. Is the lovely (Y/N) trying to escape? And with her family no less? How sweet."

Before you could blink, he was right behind you.

"That won't do."

Then, he slaughtered them. He slaughtered them all, no hesitation. Screaming, you covered your ears and shit your eyes as tight as you could.

Opening them, you saw your family, dead. Their lifeless bodies surrounded you, encasing you an a horrible nightmare, one so real, that you could never wake up.

Never again.

Shock and despair filled your mind as you collapsed to the ground, breaking into loud, animal-like sobs.

"Don't cry (Y/N), it'll all be over. You don't need them anyway." Ferid sympathized, reaching out towards you, kneeling.

Almost instinctively, you hit his hand away, making a satisfying slap.

He looked at his hand in shock.

"Leave...me..alone!!!" You screamed, fury radiating from your small frame.

Getting up, you tried to punch him, but instead, he grabbed your wrist.

"Now now, I'll be able to look over this...event...just come with me." He smirked.

'No'' your brain screamed.

'No no no no no no no no no-'

"NO!!!" You screeched, unaware of what you were saying, "YOU! YOU AND ALL OF THOSE BLOOD SUCKING MONSTERS SHOULD ALL JUST DIE! LEAVE US ALONE! YES IT'S TRUE, US HUMANS ARE WEAK IN COMPARISON TO YOUR SPECIES, BUT WE HAVE SOMETHING YOU LACK!!!"

"Oh? And what is that?" Ferid chuckled.

"We...we have hearts." You huffed, tired as Ferid was now clutching your neck, lifting you up slowly, your emotionless face dark.

"Kill me. Go ahead...in fact...please kill me..." You whispered, "relieve me of the pain...incinerate my existence in this world...and...return me to my family-"

Ferid let go of you, your body falling into the floor with a thud as you started coughing.

"No. I won't kill you. I'll let you live, after all, wouldn't that be the ultimate punishment? Now go." He smirked again, kicking you in the side, your weak body skimming across the marble floor.

You lay there, unmoving.

"Hearts huh?" You heard Ferid whisper silently, so silently you could barely make out his words.

He sauntered away, leaving you on the floor. When he was out of sight, you stood up and ran. You had to escape from here, other wise, if he sees you again, he'd probably show no more mercy.

Running towards the exit you found out about in the library, tears escaped your eyes. Then, you saw a light. This was it. This was the outside world, the paradise.

Only, you found out that the outside world, was no paradise at all.

*gasps*

It was that dream again. The past always haunts you, forcing you to remember, but now, you were a different girl from back then. You are no longer that weak coward.

Years had passed since then, and you've trained hard, and now, you're a grown woman, one of the strongest in the Moon Demon Company. A proud owner of a demon from the black demon series. Many men have tried asking you out already, but you've rejected them. After all, you only have one goal - to slaughter Ferid, and every other vampire along with him.

Making your way towards your weapon, you stroked the blade.

"Hey Honoka. I had the same dream again. Stupid, isn't it?" You said towards the demon in the weapon. There was no response, like usual.

Sighing, you made your way towards the balcony your room had, and opened its doors, the freezing winter air blasting in your room. Taking in a deep breath, you leaned on the railing, looking at the scenery of tattered buildings, a messed up world, but above all that, you saw the sky. Infinite, beautiful, and full of possibilities.

The stars shone brightly tonight, and the crescent moon's light illuminating the land. You rested your head on your arms, which were crossed on top of the railing. You wanted the ability to fly. The freedom that came with it, but, your a human, not a bird, and there's nothing you could do about it.

You started remembering how you got into the Moon Demon Company. The struggles, the tests, making new friends like Shinoa and the others, and most of all, being given a weapon. Guren let you have demon from the black demon company, and you must admit, that the test the demon have you was tough. You laughed under your breath, remembering the shock on Honoka's face when you pushed past her illusions.

Before you knew it, you had a weapon from the black demon series, and you succeeded in becoming one of the most strongest and valuable member in the Moon Demon Company.

It started to snow, as you closed your eyes to enjoy the short moment, but it wasn't long seeing you got cold again.

Shivering, you went back inside, sitting next to the portable heater with a large blanket wrapped around you, falling asleep sitting up.

Time skip~~~

Oi!!!" Mitsuba yelled, knocking on your door, causing you to jolt awake.

"What?" You screamed, still tired.

"You're late you were supposed to be at the meeting spot at 8:00!"

Looking at the clock, you saw it was 8:23.

Shit I'm 23 minutes late.

Quickly, you took a quick rinse of a shower, brushed your teeth and got dressed, leaving your hair wet.

"It'll air dry." You thought as you followed Mitsuba down the hall to the car.

This was it. We were attacking the vampire nobles. This is my dream, and it's finally starting to come true.

(Go to that part of the anime where they kill that vampire noble guy I think it's in season 2 idk but I'm too lazy to write about that battle so yeah. I'm changing to scene up a bit so Ferid can get in here and have some lovey-dovey moments, including lots of blood loss lol. So if you haven't watched up to that part yet, I recommend finishing it up and yeah since season 2 ended and stuff. Hope u enjoy.)
