Chapter 3: The Bakery

My alarm goes off and it wakes me up. I was having another nightmare about my parents. I turn off the annoying device and get up. I have to meet Myungsoo at the bakery. Hopefully, he doesn't feel embarrassed about last night. He told me he hates being weak in front of me and that he needs to be strong for my sake. I get dressed and pick up the sweater that was on the floor from last night. What the hell, it's still clean. I end up putting it on and walk out the door. It's still a bit early so I just walk around for a while. As I'm walking, I start getting lightheaded. Each second, making my head hurt more. I rub my eyes and stop walking. Inhale. Exhale. Inhal-

(Flashback)

Dad: You want to be a 'what' when you grow up

Y/n: A dancer, appa.

Dad: A dancer? Where did this come from? I thought you wanted to be a baker just like your appa.

Y/n: Well... I can have two jobs when I'm older, you know.

Mom: Aw, my little overachiever.

Dad: But being a dancer. It's not a steady job.

Mom: Honey.

Y/n: but I love dancing.

Dad: It's up to you. You're going to be my baby girl anyway.

Y/n: I love you, appa!

Dad: I know.

(End of flashback)

I catch my breath and suddenly I'm at a dance studio. What the hell, When did I get here? I might as well check it out. As I'm about to enter the place, my phone vibrates and I take it out and open the message.

[myungsoo- 8:34pm]- Where are you? It's cold and windy!

Holy shit, what time is it? I look at the time. 8:34 am. I was supposed to be at the bakery at 8.

Myungsoo: Finally. Y/n. Do you want me to catch hypothermia?

Y/n: You could have waited in your car, you know. (I smile as I unlock the bakery.)

Myungsoo: Tsh.

Y/n: For a guy graduating early, I would have expected that-

Myungsoo: Shut up and warm me up. (Pulls me into a hug.)

Y/n: Myungsoo!

Myungsoo: Where the hell were you? Did you sleep in? (Pulls away and walks in)

Y/n: I went for a walk. (Follows him inside)

Myungsoo: You are thirty minutes late. Do you really expect me to beli-

Y/n: and I think I blacked out.

Myungsoo quickly turns around and puts his hand on my forehead.

Y/n: Ya, What are you doing?

Myungsoo: For a girl going to medical school, I would have expected that-

Y/n: (Moves away from his hand) all the money related things are upstairs, Let us go.

Myungsoo: you seem quite warm.

Y/n: I'm fine.

Myungsoo: You just told me you think you blacked out and just yesterday you were having hallucinations. How is that fine?

Y/n: We came here for the bakery not my medical condition.
