I was standing in the kitchen waiting for Edward to come pick me up and take me to the "surprise" that Alice had pratically forced me to be apart of. I objected at first, never one to enjoy surprises, but Alice wouldn't let me get out of this one. Hopefully it's nothing I will completely hate, I had begged Edward all week to let me in on the secret, but aparently if you're human you cant get in on the vampire secrets. Knowing Alice's obsession with going a little to far with planning, it's possible that were flying out to Paris in a private jet tonight. I sighed, and grabbed a sponge and started scrubbing the counters, trying to keep busy. In no time I heard Edwards volvo pull into the driveway and quickly dryed my hands and shuffled off to open the door. I heaved it open to see my perfect angel once again, and found myself completely relaxed when his cool hand found mine. His other hand reached up to stroke my cheek lightly, and then he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Ready?" He asked, giving me a smile that melted my insides.

"As ready as I can be, considering I have no clue what I should be ready for."

We walked outside and I shut and locked the door behind me. It was 6:00 p.m. on a Saturday and I had informed Charlie already that I would be out late with Edward. He didn't object when I told him we were going on a double date with Alice and Jasper. Plus he was probably releaved since he had plans to watch a game at Billy's. Edward opened the passenger side door for me and then walked over to his side of the car.

"Please tell me where were going?" I said, giving him my best puppy dog face.

"That won't work on me Bella," he chuckled "Alice has been doing that for years."

"Oh come on," I groaned "What if I don't like it?"

He grinned. "I can't make any promises that you will. I couldn't reign Alice in, you know how she is."

"Now I'm really scared,"

His thumb rubbed small circles on the back of my hand.

"No, really. I'm imagining the worst Edward."

"Calm down Bella. Everything will be fine if you're with me, ill make sure of it."

That made me smile. "I love you,"

He looked over at me, his golden eyes dazzling me like they usually do. "As I love you,"

We sat silent in bliss for a while, just enjoying eachothers company. "How far away is this place?" I asked, half expecting to get on a plane, a boat, or a train next.

"Were almost there, the place isn't too far away."

Nothing is too far away when you have a crazy boyfriend who likes to drive speeds 90+ even on regular roads. I craned my next to see where we were. We were pulling into a parking lot, and I squinted to see the sign on the building, really confused. Normally Alice chooses fancier places, like five star restaraunts, or private yacht cruises. I should have know it was more casual when she said I could wear my regular clothes, not that I objected. We pulled in a little closer, searching for a parking spot and I saw the sign.

"ROLLER KINGDOM EDWARD? I can't skate!" I exlaimed nervously. Anything athletic that requires even the least bit of balance was something that I should never even consider. Especially surrounded by a bunch of people moving in fast circles all around you. I silently thanked the gods that Emmett didn't come, otherwise I would never hear the end of the clutz jokes.

"I'll hold you the whole time, just like dancing. You may even find that you like it."

"I doubt that," The truth was, I used to rollerblade when I was about ten. It was one of Renee's many hobbies, which she had convinced me to join. I was clutsy then too, but I wasn't too bad. I'm just worried about falling badly in front of Edward because I hadn't done it in years. Hopefully its like a bike, something you can do easily without doing it for a while.
