"A drive through movie?" I asked. "I haven't been to one of those in ages."

He smiled. "Then you'll have fun."

"Arent these places normally kind of sketchy? With old men and rapists.." I said, raising my eyebrows in mock fear.

"It depends on where you go i guess," He sighed. "But i'm pretty sure you're in no danger with me around Bella."

I smiled, " I know."

He opened the passenger side door for me and I hopped in. I waited for him to get in the car before I asked him another question.

"What movie are we seeing?"

"I'm not sure, I guess we'll have to see whats playing."

He reached out for my hand. When we got there he unbuckled his belt and I did the same. He rolled down the windows, I'm guessing so we could hear the movie from inside, and motioned for me to go into the backseat, so I got out and then back in. I laughed internally at the corniness of all of this, but I'm happy he tries so hard to do special things for me. I scooted next to him as the movie started. It appeared to be a romance movie, even though I know Edward has a hard time sitting through those. He always pointed out the dumb actions of the characters.

I snuggled into his side and he kissed the top of my head. He pulled a blanket out from under the seat and draped it over me when the draft from the open windows got chilly. I tried to pay attention to the movie, but kept getting distracted, and often ended up staring at his perfect face and lips. Eventually I pulled his head down towards mine. He looked confused at first but kept up. I pressed my chest against his and deepened the kiss. He moaned, and clutched me tighter before letting go entirely. I wanted to object, but didnt want to spoil our date. Everyone knows that teenagers do naughty things at drive throughs, unfortanetly Edward and I arent one of them.

I saw Edward glance out the window to the right of me a couple of times during the first thirty minutes of the movie but just shook his head when I raised an eyebrow. Probably something out of my hearing range. A couple minutes later he tensed up and I looked at him again, but then jumped when I heard a mans voice in the window.

"Watchu guys doin in there?" He mumbled, leaning his head in the window. He had shaggy blonde hair and his breath smelled like beer as it vented into the car. I didn't say anything, but I felt the vibration of a low growl from Edward's chest. "Are you getting dirty under those blankets?" He spat, grinning. "Mind if I join?"

I felt Edwards arms wrap around my waist and he scooted me over his lap to the other side of him, away from the stranger. He looked furious. He won't hurt the drunk man will he? Not that I oppose, but it would cause a scene. "Im going to ask you to leave once."

"You want to keep her all to yourself dont ya?" He began, but stopped short when he saw Edwards expression. He backed up a step. "Little honey, I'm here if you change your mind and get sick of him! I'm sure I'm much better in bed." He stumbled away, bumping into a car, his beer sloshing all over the windsheild.

"I swear you attract all kinds of danger Bella," He cursed, still tense.

I have to admit, that was weird. I shook my head. "That was really creepy." I climbed onto his lap and he wrapped his arms around me. I kissed his lips, my fingers clutching at his shirt. He pulled away after a minute of course.

"Watch the movie Bella," He sighed.

"Come on," I groaned. "Why don't you show me that your better in bed than he is." He didn't laugh like I thought he would, he just ignored me, and pretended to be interested in the movie. "You sure? He said he was here for me if I changed my mind." I muttered.

He rolled his eyes but his grip on me tightened a little. I kissed his neck lightly.

"I love you," I murmured. "So much that it hurts."

He looked at me with his topaz eyes, and I swore I could see into his beautiful soul. The soul that he believes is non existant. "I love you too Bella." He whispered.
