Arabella's P.O.V.
I quickly make my way to my first period, trying not run into anyone, especially Taylor Heavens. My phone vibrates and I quickly pull it out of my pocket to check it. As I do this, I accidentally bump into someone, knocking all our books out of our hands. "Sorry.." I start to say, looking up then freeze. Shit, I thought. "Watch where you're walking, bitch." Taylor says coldly. I quickly stand up, trying to gather my things. Sadly, Taylor decides to not let this one go. I'm quickly pulled up by my hair and she slaps me across the face. "Don't do it again, or I will beat the living shit out of you," she warns. I walk away quickly, choking back tears. So much for a good day.
I walk into my first period, chemistry. I search for my usual seat, back corner, away from everyone and farthest away from the teacher. Sadly, there's a boy already in my seat. I let out a glare, and he looks up and I quickly look away. The only seat left is next to him, so I drag myself over there and sit down. He looks at me for a moment, and then the teacher walks in. While the teacher goes over the syllabus, I quickly observe the boy sitting next to me. Medium-long brown hair that's pin straight. He has chocolate brown eyes and he's dressed in skinnies and a white V-neck t-shirt. He turns his head and looks at me, and I quickly face my eyes back up front, blood rushing to my cheeks. He smirks and turns back to the front, paying attention to the teacher.
The bell rings and I rush out of the classroom, and to my locker. The next two periods pass, uneventful, but that boy in my first period was also in my third and he again took my seat. The bell rings, dismissing third period and I sigh, heading to the lunch room.
Alex's P.O.V.
The girl walked into my first period and I have to admit, she's pretty cute. I look at her, noticing she's giving me evil eyes. What the fuck? I thought. She quickly looks down, noticing that I'm looking at her. She quickly makes her way to the seat next to me. She smells like roses, I think to myself. Half way through the class, I notice her glancing at me out of the corner of her eyes. I smirk in my head and turn towards her making her quickly shoot her eyes up front. Cute, I think and turn back up front. When the bell rings, she practically runs out of the classroom.
Luckily in my second period I have Zack. Good to have a friend, no one here seems really friendly. I take a seat next to Zack and he's already dozing off. I smack the back of his head and he bolts up right, fists clenched. "Roar tiger, calm down. Just me." I say, laughing a bit. He relaxes and turns towards me, "Don't fucking do that. You know how I am." I laugh and go to tell him about this girl, but the teacher walks in.
By third period, I was starving. One more hour and I can see everyone and eat I think to myself. The bell rings and a few stragglers come rushing in, including that girl from first period. Again, she glares at me quickly but takes a seat next to me. I notice her hoodie, and grin. "Nice hoodie, great band," I say, smiling. "Th-thanks." She stutters, and looks away. Damn, she is cute. I wondered why she was being so apprehensive towards me but shook it off. Who's ever nice to the new kid, anyways?
The teacher starts talking and going over the syllabus when a blonde girl walks in. "Ms. Heaven's, let's not make this a habit. Take a seat, next to Arabella." The girls smiles sweetly and turns around to give this girl, who I now know as Arabella, the evilest eyes I've ever seen. Catfight. I grin. I then see Arabella stiffen up next to me, worry and fear written all over her face. I shrug, not wanting to get in the middle of it.
The teacher begins talking again and I zone out a bit, hungry and tired. Just wanting to see Jack, Zack and Rian again. At least I belonged to some group. "Don't get used to this bitch, you're still a no body. Tomorrow, if I'm sitting here, you sit somewhere else. Your face is gonna distract me." I hear this Taylor girl whisper to Arabella. Bitch. I think. Arabella just sighs and puts her head down. I feel bad, but don't want to cause a scene.
When the bell rings, Arabella runs out of the room, looking as if she's about to cry. I quicken my pace, trying to make sure she's okay. I'm stopped by this blonde girl, Taylor who has eyes and blue as the ocean, but they look colder than Antarctica. "Hello, I'm Taylor. You must be new." She smiles flirting. I remember the comment she made to Arabella and show no emotion. "Alex Gaskarth." I say, a little sternly. She cocks her head to the side, rage filling her eyes but then softens them. "If you know what's best for you, you'll get in with us." And she walks away, giggling. I roll my eyes and start heading towards the cafeteria. I see Zack, Rian and Jack at a table in the back corner and head over there. Finally glad to see my best friends.
