Alex's P.O.V.

I needed to clear my head and Jack let me drive around in his car. I ended up getting lost, turning down a random street. God damn Arkansas I think in my head, getting annoyed. Suddenly, something catches my eye. I see somehow, lay down on the ground at a little park. Familiarity catches my eye and I screech to a stop. I run over, not knowing who or what to expect.

When I reach the bench, I pause, staring at the girl laying on the ground, passed out at my feet. Blood pouring out of her arms. I start panicking, memories flashing through my head. No, Alex. Get your fucking head straight. Help this girl, she's dying. I shake my head, but still shaky, pick up Arabella's cold body and start racing towards the car. I yank open the back door and gently lay her in there. I can come get her luggage later. I race back to our house, luckily finding the main road we lived off of. I race through the door and everyone freezes. I start trembling, shaking and sweating. "Help.." I whisper, and suddenly Rian is in front of me and Zack and Jack. Rian quickly swipes Arabella out of my arms and orders Zack to get a wet cloth and bandages. I collapse, only to be caught by Jack. My breathing increases, my heart beat. My chest hurts, I'm shaking terribly and I can't grab air. "Not here, buddy. C'mon." Jack says gently, helping me up and bringing upstairs.

He calms me down just by playing a guitar softly and singing a song my mother always used to sing to me and my brother when we were little. "Thanks, Jack. I love you." I say, drifting asleep and not even knowing it. "Don't worry about it, kiddo. Go to sleep, love you to." He says, quietly leaving the room. I fall asleep, dreamland coming on.

Jack's P.O.V.

I take a deep breath after leaving Alex's room. Poor kid, he doesn't need this. I sigh and head downstairs. By the time I make it into the living room, Rian is covering Arabella up with a blanket. "She's alright, lost some blood, but not enough to die. Bandaged her up. Oh, and I found this note in her pocket." He hands me the note, and I read it.

I have to admit, I became angry. "What kind of mother would do this?" I snarl and Zack immediately comes over and takes the letter out of my hand, reading it. He shakes his head. Rian comes over and reads it too. "Well, this girl is staying with us. No matter her protests. She has nowhere to go, and we are not leaving her out in the cold." He says, sternly. I agree. I turn around to see Alex standing behind me, looking exhausted.

"Thought you were sleeping there, Alex?" I said. "I was. Dreams." He replies, shortly. I step towards him, expecting him to break down. "Her bags are at little park a few minutes away from here." He says and goes to lay on the couch. "I'll get it" Zack whispers, taking my keys. "Alex, what are you doing?" Rian asks. "Making sure she doesn't run away," he replies, already half asleep. Rian looks at me, worried.

"I'll sleep with him" I mouth and Rian nods. I swear sometimes Rian acted more like our dad than anything else. But hey, everyone needs someone who's responsible, right? I ran upstairs to grab a pillow and blanket and come back down to the couch Alex is already asleep on. "Move on over babe, we're cuddling and shit" I say to Alex and see him grin a little bit, lifting up his arm.

I crawl under it like a baby and soon enough, his snoring lulls me to sleep.

Arabella's P.O.V.

"Ow, fuck! Alex watch where push me you dick!" "Shut up! You're gonna wake everyone up you ass!" "Then stop burning me asshole!" I flutter my eyes open and wonder where I am. Silently laughing at the conversation I was over hearing. Then I frowned, realizing, I was still alive. Fuck. Someone saved me, again. I silently rise up off the couch and walk towards where I hear the voices coming from.

I enter the kitchen and see Alex and Jack's backs turned to me, and they're trying, well attempting, to cook eggs. I had to laugh because it was just too damn cute to watch them try. They jump and turn around. I immediately shut up and look down at the black and white tile. So typical I think to myself. "Good morning, sunshine!" Jack says cheerfully. "Glad to see you're still with us on this world." I shudder and Alex elbows him in the side.

"Ignore him, he's arrogant." He says, shooting Jack a dirty look. Jack throws his hands up and grunts, walking out of the kitchen. "You can look at me, Arabella, I'm not gonna murder you." Alex jokes, flashing a smile. I slowly look up towards him and see those golden-brown eyes looking straight into mine. I get nervous. "Do you need help?" I manage to croak out of my throat, quieter than I expected. He shakes his head no, while I smell burning food and see a small flame. Alex apparently does to.

"FUCK!" He yells, throwing the pan into the sink and turning the water on. I had no choice but to laugh at this and Jack joins in to, walking back into the kitchen with a box of Cheerios. Alex shoots him a look and I just laugh again. They both then look at me, smiling and suddenly, I feel extremely awkward. "Don't worry there Arabella, we're all good." Jack says, flashing me a smile. I give a little smile and go sit down at the counter. Jack pours me a bowl of cereal and I instantly feel sick to my stomach.

"N-no thanks. Not really hungry." I stutter. Jeez, Arabella. Fucking speak. You're making yourself look like a dumbass. I shake my head, trying to get rid of the voice speaking to me. "You need to eat, you look like you just got out of a concentration camp!" Jack says, stuffing his mouth with a spoonful of cereal. I giggle a little and Alex looks at me with concern, but does not say anything.
