"Phil, you dumb-dumb, we're at Hogwarts." Louise's voice pulled me from my slumber. I looked down at Dan who was just waking up as well. He smiled at my blearily and I smiled back.

"Oh god I just had a terrible dream, I was so worried about Dan and—"

"What's that on your neck?" Louise poked a spot on my neck and I winced. I gingerly rubbed my fingers over the welt on my neck before freezing, their words echoing in my ears.

No one will ever hear of this. You will tell no one of what has happened to Dan nor what you heard. Do you understand?

"Phil?" Dan looked up at me with clear and sharp brown eyes, nothing like the cloudy unfocused marbles from before. "Are you okay?"

Do you understand?!

"Phil!"

I jumped at the harsh voice of the death mixing with Dan's concerned one. I looked back down at Dan, his brown eyes swimming, and I sent him a soft smile.

"Did I ever tell you how much you mean to me?" I asked.

Dan's eyes widened. "Phil, what's wrong?" Dan said slowly.

I shook my head, forcing a chuckle. "Sorry, I just had a really scary nightmare. It's over now."

"What happened?" Dan asked, sitting up and taking my hand in his. I glanced at our intertwined hands and back to Dan.

Do you understand?

I shrugged.

"I don't remember."

Hand in hand we walked back to the Hufflepuff common room. Chris soon joined us, hair fluffed up and lips swollen. He straightened his Gryffindor tie with a chuckle and sent us a sideways glance.

"You get laid?" Dan laughed.

Chris's eyes widened and he looked at Dan with a goofy, wide, open mouth, smirk. "oh yeah I did."

"I'm guessing it was good?" Dan smirked, looking over Chris.

"Oh yeah." Chris let out a whistle and swore under his breath. "Speaking of laid, what about you two? Have you had gay anal sex with each other yet?" Dan and I both turned bright red and let go of each other's hand. I scratched at the welt nervously and avoided Dan's gaze. "Hey, relax you two, I was just joking." Chris chuckled and I sighed.

"So who'd you smash?" Dan asked, eager to move the subject away from us.

"A boy with the prettiest green eyes, he's from one of the visiting school. Boob-bats or something french. It was hot sounding when he said it." Chris let out a low chuckle and fanned himself. Dan laughed and I let out a quiet chuckle. "Anyway, Phil, what sex toys did you get for yourself?"

"I went to Honeydukes, so no sex toys, but I got all my favorite candies and I want Dan to try the Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, because I think he'll enjoy them." I forced a smile, which caused Dan and Chris to share a look before nodding.

"Yeah, that sounds fine." Dan mumbled, wrapping an arm around my shoulder. I relaxed under his touch and leaned into him, inhaling his warm scent. He placed a kiss on my forehead and I let out a sigh.

"I'm gonna go find that boob-bat boy," Chris winked. I rolled my eyes. "I'll see you crazy kids around."

"See you." I smiled and Chris patted my cheek.

"Feel better, soon." Chris smiled.

I didn't bother to correct him. "Thank you."

Chris gave us a wave before running off. I glanced up at Dan and he smiled back at me.

"How are you feeling?" I asked.

He furrowed his eyebrows. "I'm fine. Why are you asking me that?"

I chuckled. "Because I'm always worried about you."

Dan smiled. "Where do you want to go?"

"The greenhouse, I haven't been there in ages." I jumped up and Dan chuckled.

"Okay." Dan smiled and I smiled back. I took his hand in mine and pulled him to the greenhouse. I pushed the door open and inhaled the comforting smell of soil and moist air. Dirigible plums floated above me, fanged roses hissed and snaked in their stalks, and mandrakes hummed quietly in their pots. On the wall I searched for my small plant, a tree with small fruits the size of jelly beans, hanging from the thin branches. I picked it up and set it on the center table as Dan walked in, his eyes wandering around the room in awe.

"Did you grow all of these?" Dan asked.

I laughed and shook my head. "no, I wish I was that good though. This is the herbology classroom, which I clean and stuff for passes on essays. Normally I wouldn't bring anyone with me because they would do all the work to get to skip essays, but because I like you more than the other people, I brought you with me in here."

"I feel special." Dan mumbled.

"You are."

We looked at each other and laughed.

"So what plant is that? Like a Tibetan tree from some obscure forest." Dan asked, walking to the table beside me.

I laughed. "No this is a plant I made with spells." Dan gaped and glanced from the tree to me. "Take a berry." I said, nodding to the tree.

He gingerly plucked off a berry and popped it into his mouth.

"Oh my god," he gasped and stared at me with wide eyes. "it tastes like chocolate! It's amazing!"

"I guess..."

"You guess?" He plucked another and gasped again. "Caramel? Jesus Christ Phil, you're amazing!"

"Two amazing's, I must be pretty amazing." I chuckled and scratched the back of my neck.

"You are though." Dan looked up at me with twinkling eyes. My cheeks grew hot and I looked away. Dan let out a soft sigh and I fiddled with my tie. "Look at me." He whispered softly. I kept me gaze to the ground.

They were asking for it.

The words echoed in my head in a deep gruff voice.

Dan his hand and placed it on my cheek. "Phil, please."

I slowly gazed up and my heart skipped a beat. His fondue chocolate brown eyes were glazed with warmth and adoration. His hair was curling at the ends from the humidity. He had a half quirked smile and his dimple created a crevice in his smooth cheek. His lips were pink and full and wet as his tongue over the bottom before swiping over the top.

Dan gazed down at my quivering lips and leaned in, his lips puckered. My heart swooned and I began to lean in as well. My hand slid to my cheek and I closed my eyes.

"HEY LOVEBIRDS, DINNER'S READY!" Chris kicked the down and screamed at us.

I yelped and jumped several feet back. Dan glanced at me with wide eyes before rolling them and storming out, brushing past Chris. I ran after Dan, ready to play the oblivious card.

"Dan! Are you okay?" I asked.

"I— and you— and Chris— and we— never mind." Dan let out a sigh, shaking his head. He sent me a soft, understanding smile. "Let's just go to dinner."
