Setting: After Spider-man gets hurt, you are responsible for helping him.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You have been working with the Daily Bugle for years now, and you absolutely love it. The pay is awesome, your co-workers are cool, and your boss? Yeah, he was cool in his own way. You just have to get to know him.

Your job was fairly easy. All you had to do was sneak into police scenes, ask questions, and write an article. But lately, all that people cared about was Spider-man. Spider-man this and Spider-man that. Oh look! Spider-man is saving a girl from falling to her death.

Ugh. Who cares. You grabbed the newspaper from this week. Yes, it was The Daily Bugle. You flipped to the third page, where you could find a picture of Spider-man. The picture was magnificent itself. You could see all the small details. Whoever took this picture must have a nice camera.

You sighed. It's a good thing you only write articles. Taking pictures is not your thing.

"Hey Y/N! Shouldn't you be leaving?" You looked up at one of your co-workers. It was only James.

"What time is it?" You asked.

"About five," he replied.

"Wow," you said lamely. You stared at each other for a while before you picked up your phone and slipped it in your pocket.

"See you later."

You waved and made your way to the elevator, newspaper still in hand. Once you reached the bottom floor, you threw the newspaper away. It's not like you will be reading anything on it.

As soon as you stepped outside wind blew against your face. It was a harsh winter wind. It cooled your soul, and you rubbed your hands together.

People scurried past, and you suddenly noticed something was very wrong. People were screaming, and children were hiding behind their parents.

There was a huge hole in the middle of the street. A few cars had sunk in. You gasped as you saw the destruction of the city around you.

Terrorist attack? You thought. The thought made you angry and your stepped further outside. Your eyes scanned the surrounding city for anything suspicious. You saw Spider-man swinging from building to building.

This is all him! You thought angrily. Why would he do that? What's the point of destroying the city? You gripped your hands at your side. Yeah, you weren't a fan of Spider-man. As he swung past, you couldn't let the opportunity slip past.

"What is wrong with you!" You screamed up at the swinging figure. He didn't hear you, and kept on.

You breathed out in annoyance. Men, I swear. Suddenly a thin guy pushed you to the ground.

"Hey!" You yelled at him. He pulled you up quickly but he seemed lost in his thought.

"Run!" He yelled before taking off. You brushed yourself off and rolled your eyes.

"Whatever," you grumbled at him. More screaming came behind you, and you spun around. A woman was being chased by a kid with freaking lightsabers. Not only that, he was wearing a Spider-man suit look alike.

You thought about what to do. You could run away like a loser, or help that lady. But potentially get chased after. What do I have to lose?

You ran toward the pair, and pulled the lady towards you. You threw her to the side and waved at lightsaber boy.

"Hey, loser!" You yelled. You couldn't see his expression through the mask, but he stopped his moving for a second.

"It's Kidpool!" He finally said.
