Staring at your best friend, you couldn't find the words to say anything.

"What?" he said uncomfortably. You smiled at him.

"Sorry, it's just odd.
I mean, first you steal the car of those dipshits down at the Clove, then you go missing for like 3 months, and when you come back, you're wearing a fuckin suit n' tie!"

Eggsy grins.

"It's been a eventful year," he says slowly.

"You talkin' like a grown man now Eggsy?"

He tilts his head.

"And what's up with the glasses?"

You reach up to grab the glasses but he grabs your wrist and sets it back on the table.

"Eggsy?" You question him. He doesn't look at you as he lifts his drink to his lips.

You sigh.

"I better be goin'."

You take one last gulp of your drink and stand up. You turn towards Eggsy. He reaches up and you shake hands.

"Alright, I'll see you later."

"Call me when the real Eggsy comes back, kay?" You smile one last time and leave the bar.

"Well, tell me all about it!"

"He was wearin' a suit n' a tie, and his hair was combed back. He looked like a true gentleman. But he wasn't my Eggsy," you mumble to your best friend.

"Sounds dreamy," she says slowly.

"He's not the prince and your not the princess, just remember that."

She glares at you.

"I'm allowed to dream, ain't I?"

"No," you say and glare at her.

"He was gone for three months, and he comes back like this? It's just weird, ya know?"

Your friend sighs.

"Ay, just give it up (Y/N)!"

"Whatever. I should get goin'. Dad probably gettin' worried about me."

"Why do you let him beat you? (Y/N) you should get some help..." Your friend suggests.

"Maybe I should leave for three months and hope that when I come back everything will be better," you say and think about Eggsy.

---In Eggsys house---
As soon as he turned on the tech, two female voices came out of the speakers.

"He was gone for three months, and he comes back like this? It's just weird, ya know?"

Eggsy assumed this voice was (Y/N). He hears the sound of sighing.

"Ay, just give it up (Y/N)!"

"Whatever. I should get goin'. Dad probably gettin' worried about me."

Eggsy remember her father. He was harsh and cold towards Eggsy, never really liking him.

"Why do you let him beat you? (Y/N) you should get some help..."

He beats (Y/N)? Eggsy thought.

"Maybe I should leave for three months and hope that when I come back everything will be better," (Y/N) said again.

Low blow, Eggsy thought.

He decided to apologize to (Y/N) and hope for the best.
