the close call

Okay guys I'm putting this into two parts because I'm doing this on my phone and it's about to die so here ya go pt.1

After calming down Alicia suggested that we should go down to the kitchen and eat. There were a million questions I wanted to ask her,but the sweet smelling aroma coming from the kitchen made me put them in the back of my mind for a little while. The kitchen was packed with people and the most yummy looking food jazzy and I have seen in months. Sure it was just a bunch of cheesy enchilada hamburger helper, but it didn't compare to the stale stuff jazzy and I were use to. As we walked into the room a man wearing a polo shirt came up to me with a big grin on his face.

"Hi I'm Joey, you must be new around here." So to be nice since his day seemed to go waaaay better than mine i said,  "Nice to meet you Joey my name is Alice and this is jazzy." He looked shocked but I was so hungry I didn't care what he thought." Well nice to meet you if you need anything just ask." After he said that he was off trying not to show his excitement in his face,but I noticed how as soon as he walked into the dinning room he was talking really fast to other people. So if u put two and two together you can understand that 20 minutes later we were getting hi's,hello's,and a few stares all over. I was to busy talking to complete strangers when I ran into what felt like a brick wall. Only to realize that it was Cody. Who managed to sneak up from behind me.

"Well well isn't someone making an impression." 

"What do you want Cody." I growled." No need for a temper Alice I just wanted to see if you would like to go hunting at the wallmart a few blocks over." I thought about it. It would be really nice to be outside and do what I love to do best. "What the heck sure what time." He looked amused and said, "We will leave around one tomorrow and were going for more supplies."

"Hey you said that I have magic powers ?.... He looked at me like I was the stupid one.""Ya I did what's your point." He said as if he was hardly paying attention." Soooo when do I get to use them." There was this ' oh ya' look on his face and said," you have classes in the morning to see what  you can do with your magic ." I was going to ask him something else when a guy came up to him and whispered something I didn't quite catch." I've got to go,but I'll be around in the morning to take you to your classes."

And with that he was gone. Apperantly I was staring at him for to long cus had this worried look on her face."Hey Alice what's wrong?" Oops I had tottaly had forget that she was there." Nothing I'm gonna go and get some sleep. Love ya jazz stay out of trouble okay?" She nooded her head yes so I made my way up the stairs and into my room.
