the safehouse

when I woke up I thought that it would be sunlight and nothing to worry about....and one again I was wrong. I heard a lot of moaning and shuffling from outside. I instantly flew my eyes open to see cody laying besides me giving me this warning look. After taking a good look of my sourndings I saw a total of 12 pyshos outside that thankfully havent seen us.

" dont move or we all die." The voice startled me because it sounded like cody only his mouth didnt move. Seeing my confused expression I could tell that it was hard for him to keep from laughing at me. Which only made me more annoyed. "Didn't know we could do this huh?" He asked again in his mind.

I was about to protest and ask how he was doing that, when when gave me a worried glance and sent, "ok, ok, just clear your mind and think about pushing the thing u want to tell me in my mind." Oh i thought this is gonna be good of all the good comments and remarks I couldn't wait to say all I could think of was this one question. So after clearing my mind which was hard considering of the situation I thought I did pretty good. I asked him, "Well what do we do know smart one?"

He gave me this look and sent ," quite havent figured that one out yet Im working on it" I almost started to laugh but I stopped myself before it was to late. Being excited about what i can do i tired it on Mr.Martin. "Mr.Martin?" I asked hoping that he could hear me. After a dew minutes of silence I was afriad I would have to start talking to cody again, and listen to his smart remarks when I heard, " yes Alice I didnt know you could do this."

Feeling a little proud that I shocked him made me smile. "Yea I didnt either till cody started making fun of me n doing it." I think I saw his shoulders move in a silenced chuckle but he was in a dark corner so i couldn't see him. "Why do you two pick on each other? , why cant you two get along like good kids?" He asked like a annoyed parent.

I started to send something retorical back but the door to the gun shop was being banged on by the pshycos who were looking for shelter before daylight.I tensed up every time it made a noise I had to cover my mouth before I screamed in terror. I looked up to see cody's worried look on his face and heard, " Calm down its ok, your gonna be oookay" he said in a cooing form in my head. And I started to relax a little.

BOOM!!!! and the door came down and Mr.Martin made a sheild that was sorunding the three. "Take em down you two!" , we heard him yell, and so i started picking up knifes and making each of them land in each pshycos forehead. "Nice one Alice." I heard cody on my right he was shooting them with a pistol with a silencer attached to it. I was about to Make a comment when a pshyco came out of nowhere and tackled me to the ground. out of knifes, and out of options I litteary saw my life flash before my eyes. As I was fearing that this was the end I braced myself for the bite and the pain only it never came. When I looked up I saw that it was on fire and started running away.It was a total of five minutes and 50 pshycos later no more came threw the door.

When we went outside the Sun was coming up and those little suckers were running for the hills. thank god, I thought to myself before falling on my knees out of exaustion. Before I could blink cody was there to catch my fall, and picked me up while Mr.Martin opened the door to the hummer and placed me inside. Before shutting the door cody looked at me with soft caring eyes, moved my bangs out my face, and kissed me on the forehead "you did good, but dont scare me like that ever again." I gave a weak smile before I closed my eyes and let the darkness consume me

The next time I opened my eyes we were pulling up the driveway of an country house it has white outside walls and stairs with a bright Blue door that had the Word safehouse on the door. It seemed as though se were on a ranch and for some strange reason it seemed like home to me. "We're here Alice." He said in a humoring tone which made me smile. "I like the sound of that", I said and I heard him start to laugh which made me even smile bigger.

After we unloaded and re-fuled the vehicles just in case we headed into the house and was given a great heartly welcome home to a crap load of guns and non-friendly looks. "Well......... this sure is home."I said after spotting some of the people back from the old safe house and they started laughing at us and put their weopans down, and when they did so did the others to our relife.

But the best welcome of it all was those two faces that I loved and missed the most. In their boots and all were jaz and tina. Who ran into me and almost knocked me down, and were squeezing the crud out of me. And I was compleatly ok with it. "welcome home Alice." They said at the same time, and for the first time since god knows when I really did feel at home.
