One of your characters sees a black and white Mickey Mouse cartoon for the first time. What do they think?

Piper can't feel her legs when she arrives at Jonah's house, panting like a dog after a long walk.

Not the best of impressions, really.

Simba waddles towards her, his little curly tail wagging like crazy.

But the little dog, no matter how cute he is, is not the thing Piper wants to see.

The "thing" (or person if you want the correct term) is standing in the hallway, looking at the dog at the teenage girl's feet. Of all the places Simba could run, or waddle, off to, he picks there!

He doesn't look at her until she looks up at him, slightly hesitant.

Oh boy....

But, before Jonah can speak, Piper dives into her bag and pulls out a DVD.

Jonah ignores a groan surfacing in his throat, having realised that this- "The Opry House"- is a black and white movie. Not just that, it's a black and white Disney movie.

He hates black and white movies...

But, he had begun to learn when he met her, he's willing to make a compromise.

The things he does for Piper...

----

He's surprised, and a little annoyed, to find that he doesn't hate this as much as he thinks.

(Probably because, admittedly, he's been watching Piper this whole time)

He's still looking at her when the movie finishes.

"So..what did you think?"

"It was beautiful..absolutely beautiful."

Piper starts blushing when she realises he's talking about her.

"Shall we watch something else?" She asks, and he nods before he can stop himself.

She puts a new DVD in and starts watching, completely engrossed.

Jonah, on the other hand, is completely engrossed in her.

A/N: ONLY TWO MORE CHAPTERS OF THIS STORY LEFT AND THEN TRULY, MADLY, DISNEY IS ALL DONE!

Can you believe it? I really can't.

Wow. Okay. So how did you like this chapter?

I'm not going to lie, but I've never really seen a black and white Mickey Mouse movie.

I watched this one, The Opry House (a 1929 animation), just for this chapter. The video above is a Youtube link to that movie, so credit goes to the user who uploaded it.

Next time I update a story, at least after this one is done, it'll be 2016.

That's crazy.

Do you have any New Year's resolutions?

Mine is to write more, as well as enter competitions, study hard and improve my relationships with friends and family.
