Write a chapter where your characters see a Disney show- whether it is a play or on ice
Piper looks into the full length mirror in her room, smoothing down the laced red dress, smiling. She didn't mean to become a typical rom com protagonist but she just wants to see what she looks like. On seeing her reflection, Piper feels a pang of worry. She knew she didn't have the best of figures (she wasn't fat, but she wasn't skinny either) and usually hides it behind numerous layers.
But now, she's exposed. She wonders whether her Mickey Mouse print cardigan would look okay with this. She decides against it (her Disney fangirl status was already evident, she doesn't want to exaggerate it).
Did she look okay?
Did it look like she was trying too hard?
"You look very beautiful, Pipes," Sandra says, placing a hand on her daughter's shoulder. Piper smiles, though she can't help but think that the situation screams chick flick moment.
Piper gives her Mum a brief hug before grabbing her last few things: keys, lipstick, purse, tissues (she'll probably cry).
"Have fun, Pipes!" Sandra calls, just as Piper shuts the door.
I definitely will, she thinks.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
An hour into the show and Piper is crying. She's completely captivated by the stories, songs and skating. Not to mention, Piper may or may not be drunk (she's eighteen now, after all, she's allowed to celebrate).
She cheers and claps and Jonah (also several people around them, Molly is looking at something else) stares at her, "It's the interval," He whispers, slightly embarrassed, "You can stop crying.."
"I can't stop crying!" Piper groans. He really didn't understand her, did he? "It's beautiful"
Jonah looks at the girl beside him, with her curled hair and bright face, and smiles. "You're beautiful" He whispers, but he- rather stupidly- says it aloud.
Piper looks back at him, "What?" She questions, even though she's heard him. Loud and clear.
She can feel heat on her cheeks (from the spotlights and, now, the compliments) and she groans, no boy- much less no attractive boy- has ever called her beautiful.
Jonah's words made her want to run down the steps and spin around until she feels dizzy. He makes her feel dizzy, he makes her feel like she's spinning.
And suddenly, she is. Her head is, anyway. Her eyes, slightly blurred, zoom into focus. Jonah's lips, she is surprised to find, are only inches away from hers.
What is it with this boy and kissing?
Piper leans in, finally ready.
Surely now is the time, right?
"We're moving, Piper.." He announces, making Piper plummet back down to Earth.
"You're- what?-" Piper stumbles on her words, fighting back tears.
Why had he told her this now?
"We're moving in a few days," He explains. "Mum figured she couldn't be here...what with my Dad and the affair..."
He looks at Piper, tears in his eyes.
"You can't go!" She screams back at him, annoyed how she sounds so much like damsel in distress. (Even though she is a damsel, and she is in very much distress).
"I have to...I'm sorry-"
"You can't just bring me here and tell me this-" Piper tries to speak but she chokes up, suddenly not feeling the show anymore. "Not when I feel this way about you..."
I've said too much, she thinks, far too much.
With this in mind, she heads down the steps- ignoring Jonah's protests- and out of the building.
Piper ignores the staff urging her to buy merchandise (which, up until now, she really wanted) and the burning in her heart, and focuses on getting out.
She can't believe that this could happen. How could the two of them get so close and then, in an instance, end up so far away?
The idea (and the alcohol she has consumed) made her want to throw up.

A/N: I thought this chapter might be a bit longer than usual. Oh well...
I guess I just had to make it a little bit sad (Sorry lol).
Only three more prompts to go and I'm finished...
But I'm going to use one of the many additional prompts to complete the story and act as an epilogue...so don't worry.
It's nearly over though.
I once went to see a show of Disney On Ice, except I was really young so I can't properly remember it. The only thing I really remember is that the 101 Dalmatians section of the show was really funny; probably because there were two people dressed in black and white with black and white spotted suits attached to them spinning around and around (I guess you had to be there I really can't describe it).
Also, I remember our seats were really high up in the arena venue we went to. I spent the whole time incredibly scared at how high up we were, but I still enjoyed the show probably (like I say I can't properly remember
I can't believe how dedicated to the story I am even if you guys aren't. Thank you for sticking with the story, whoever has, I thank each and every one of you for putting up with my short and probably boring chapters and this short and probably boring story.
Okay...that's it. Enough with my soppy author's note.
Two updates in one day though, that's crazy.
