I arrived at my last place to go which I had scored a job helping a little old lady In her library/bookstore which looked ready to fall apart at any time, I opened the door expecting the nice old lady who gave my mints and cookies. But to my surprise find a weird patch work dress lady behind the counter with what looked like really old glasses reading a book fantasy book on magic which I couldn't pronounce.
she looked up and smiled ah you must be the nice young man my older sister hired what's your name again....,it's onyx mam I said, ah what a fitting name well I'm jade west and i will be assigning you what you will be doing and if you mind asking a few questions if that ok with you, I don't mind so what's the first thing you would like me to do, well I would like you to organize the books the way it says on this cart and make sure if their all their ok but In case any are missing come tell me ( it took me 1 and a half hours to organize and finally realize their a two book's missing)
theirs a couple book's missing I said to miss jade as I showed here the list she hadn't asked on questions since i started, well that's odd let's check in the back to see if it's their my sister always forgets putting back books oh and onyx I would like you to read something it just came in so don't say anything its new and I can't see as good as I used to, ok I like reading and followed her behind bead and velvet curtains to the back which was filled with books, amazing was all I could say at the massive piles of books, thank you young man my mother would be proud of our family collection of rare books, your family collected all of these?
yes it's sort of a family tradition of ours to find and collect rare books -but before we find that missing book can you read this book to me my vision isn't as good as it once was at out loud if you can she said as she pointed to looked like an ancient leather bound book with yellowing pages with in it, ok if got it what do you want me to read?, she opened the book and pointed to a section in the were the words ran together in the ancient looking leather book but I read it any ways.
Ok sim,la,fro,da,por,le,fa,dor! and as soon as I finish the last syllable the temperature suddenly drooped and my ears popped and a blueish red round portal looking thing appeared and started sucking stuff through it , I tried to hang on to the table the book was on but failed as I lost my grip and was sucked in to oblivion...the last imagine of the new Librarian that taller and was green smiling before darkness overtook me again that day.
