Chapter 17 The city of Trees

I woke rubbing my eyes and looked up to see Eldwin and Mavis what I said yawning, Whitestone wants us Mavis said, why I said still a little tired, because he's sending somewhere now get ready  to go,(an half an hour later) I'm ready I got my gear and such so let's go guys,took you long enough Mavis said sneering, well I'm sorry ice queen my bad I said irritated by her fowl mood towards me, and started following her and Ray down the twist and turns of the place.

Well I see your all ready I apologize for waking you all but I need you to travel to the elf kingdom located in the old forest and tell him that that the dark family is back and that we need his help in the iminate battle that is surly to come and so I'm trusting you three to arrive safely by any means at you can Whitestone said calmly, ok I said but what about onyx, Onyx will be staying her to train and learn how to use his magic and to hone his weapon skills, who is training him I and Ray said, I will be teaching him along with sapphire Whitestone said, oh ok I said knowing a friend of mine was in good hands, how are we getting their  i said, we have are birds Ray and Mavis said, well how am I getting their I asked Whitestone,ah that is a problem he said with a look of thought crossed his face, ah  her Whitestone said pulling a large staff with a green brown gem on the top,this is to help you use your magic Eldwin, ok I said testing the staff which was a reddish wood what am I supposed to do with it, use it on the debris in the court yard and also take this device not everything is as it appears Whitestone said smiling walking away 

I walked to the courtyard and looked at the giant pile of dirt, wood and stone with the staff in hand what the heck am I supposed to do I thought, I pointed the staff at the pile and thought about earth and nothing happened(half an hour later) what's taking you so long Mavis and Ray said landing in the court yard, I'm exsausted I said panting I've tried everything on that stupid pile of crap I said frustrated, maybe because your weak Mavis said smiling, or maybe it's the branches Ray said trying to helpful, mabye I said can you use your fire magic or whatever on the stupid pile I said, sure Ray said smiling as his hands caught fire I'll just focus the flames on the branches and poof they will be gone he said as he turned around and threw a ball of fire at the pile, as soon as the Ball of fire hit the pile it moved and formed.

I was awestruck as the big pile of dirt uncurled into four legs with 5 stone claws and a long tail and long neck, I think it's a dragon Mavis said before it charged me and Ray, Irnearly hit us I said as I summoned a stone wall to take some of the impact, I think you made it mad Mavis yelled at Ray, as it slammed into the wall again can yo get its attention I said Bearly over a wisper, yeah Ray and Mavis said both hitting it with balls of ice and fire grabbing it's attention, I panted as I watched as the dragon which looked like it mainly consisted of dirt and branches but as it chased ray and Mavis I noticed burn marks on its back, isn't a dragon supposed to have wings I yelled at Mavis, yeah why mavis said dodging claws,

 look at its back  I said pointing at its burnt back, it looks like it had its wings cut of and Burt Mavis said climbing on its back, Eldwin couldn't you heal it Ray said using a shield to absorb some of its blows,I can try I said trying to focus my magic towards the dragon without any anvil I think I need to touch it I said running towards it , what Ray and Mavis said as I used earth magic to bind it's legs with the tree roots from the court yard I said  as it stomped and clawed at the roots, I lunged sat one of its legs and held on for dear like as I closed my eye and thought about healing the dragon like creature, I felt the magic of the earth draw to me where I  concentrated it into the dragon it started to slow down if it was in maple syrup, it eventually stopped, opened my eyes to find two green orbs looking directly at me, you can let go now I won't harm you it said in a calm voice, ok I said I little startled, you may call me season, what are you I said a little mystified at the creature, I am a elemental but also a dragon and I am linked to you my rider, I smiled then let's go I said climbing on the dragons back and disappeared into the sky towards the city of trees.
