It was roared at me reveling rows of jagged and twisted bits of metal I assumed it to be teeth and shot it with my arrow that I had drawn imbedding it in its half animal side causing it to roar in pain and look at me with its glowing globs of eyes. It swiped at me causing me to duck and roll backwards automatically evaporating any trace of sleep in my body cutting through the small trees around me like paper I pulled up my bow aiming for its arm and released another arrow into it causing steam to escape its wound.
it started to move with caution which I assumed due to the steam leaving its body I yelled at it COME ON YOU UGLY EXCUSE FOR A CREATURE it charged me and I sidestepped it some how and grabbed on one of the hoses on it still working arm and claimed onto its head and plunged my hunting dagger into one of the glowing red globes and twisted it. The creature gave a shudder and fell with the remaining red globe to dull to black color I climbed off of the beast and slumped to the ground beside the mysterious boy and closed my eyes but was shaken by old man Johnston boy,boy are you ok, I syed for the (third time that day yes) I'm fine I'm just exhausted that's all.
(The old man syed in relief ) thank you young man for saving me and my animals, you and your friend their can sleep in my spare room in my cottage, you welcome come send some one to get me and I'll visit more often I said quietly. I think I'll take you up on that offer young man I don't usually have any visitor since my son started living in that blasted bronze city,tell you what il strike a deal with you in the morning for you and your friend to think on but let's drag your friend to bed and then you can sleep.
ok I didn't argue about the boy a found to be my friend due to sleeping in a comfortable bed or the mysterious deal the old man was talking about so I grabbed the boys armpits and started dragging him (15 minutes of dragging and shoving) I finally reached my bed for the night and flopped down and fell into a weird dream with 4 glowing warriors.
