I live in a village in North Trinidad it's a very friendly neighborhood. The water supply was frequently low that it only reached a few houses at the entrance to the village. All the villagers were talking about it so I decided to write a letter to the newspapers about the problem. I wrote my name, age and my phone number in case someone wanted to contact me.
Three days later a gentleman name Mr. John call my cell phone and decided to help. He gave me the address of the Water and Sewerage Authority and phone number.
It has been some weeks now since we are having this problem and the villagers have become angry about it. I wrote to W.A.S.A and waited for an answer. Then a week past, I decided to ask my parents to go to W.A.S.A. Office because no one was answering my telephone call at the office, the phone just kept on ringing.
The next day my parents and I went to W.A.S.A, and told them about the problem and they said that they will sort the problem out although it would take about a month. After a month had passed nothing was solved so I went again and nothing was solved after the next month passed. Then about the problem, finally I went to the newspapers and the newspaper wrote an article and so there was relief. My village now has a better supply of water.
