Chapter 10

"Are you sure you don't want to talk about it?"

"I'm sure mum." I told her. I'd been at Avery's, and her father came home drunk so her mother told me to go home. It was almost 3:30, and I was tired and frustrated. "Night."

"Goodnight, Alison. Love you." She said, stopping me and planting a kiss on my cheek as I walked by.

"Love you too." I mumbled as I walked up the stairs to my room. I placed my phone on the bedside table, and changed quickly from my leggings and jumper to my old grey sweats and a baggy t-shirt. Suddenly, my phone lit up in the darkness and began buzzing. Blocked number- again.

"Hello?" I answered the phone, and I could tell I sounded tired. I knew it was Liam- he is the only one that's been blocking his number. "Liam can you stop blocking your number? I'm sick of answering your stupid phone calls in the middle of the night."

"Ali? It's not Liam." I heard. I literally felt my heart drop.

"Harry! How nice to talk to you. You found some free time to actually talk to your girlfriend. Or is that over now?" I snapped, remembering my conversation with myself earlier. Be mad, Ali. You can do it. Harry took a steadying breath before he began to speak again.

"Alison, before you get-"

"Before I get mad? Are you ser-"

"I'm serious. Alison, just give me two minutes."

"Fine." I said, after thinking for a minute.

"Thank you." He said. "Liam and the boys have convinced me that you missed me a lot- even though you won't admit it." He said after he heard me take a breath to snap back at him. "And I think... I think you should come back." He said.

"You think so?"

"Yeah." He says, and I could hear the smirk in his voice. "Will you? I can get the boys in here to beg you if you want."

"You mean they're not with you?"

"They didn't really fully forgive me after that thing in Atlanta."

"Hmm, I wonder why. Do they know you called?"

"No. But I wanted to ask you. Ali, I know you probably don't believe me, but I still love you and you mean the world to me. I just want you to be happy. So whether that's with me or without me I support your decision one hundred percent. If you want to hop on a plane right now and come to us, I'll support you. If you never want to talk to me again and delete my number, I'll support you." Harry said.

"That was... Harry. I've never... I don't even know what to say."

"Does that mean you want to come back?"

"Harry, I-"

"I can buy your ticket right now. Alison, you will not regret it. I'll make it up to you! I promise. We can start over."

"I want to come back. But I don't know if things will be the same. And I know I overreacted in the beginning, but I've had time to think and it's a lot of stress on me to be perfect. And it wasn't just you, it was the whole situation. That was just the breaking point, you know?"

"I get it."

"So... I think... I guess I will come back. Where is your next stop? It's the fourteenth... How about in a week?"

"We're in Tinley Park right now. On the twenty-first we'll be in Houston, Texas. How does that sound?"

"Sounds perfect. I'll start packing." I said, smiling.

"I'll send the ticket in the mail."

"Okay. Harry?"

"Yeah?"

"I... I miss you."

"I miss you too Ali. Skype me later, I have to go."

"Bye, Harry." I said quietly, before I took a deep breath and set my phone down, realising what just happened. I was going back on tour.

I moved to the top of the staircase and decided to tell my mom as soon as possible.

"Mum!" I yelled down the stairs, not minding that it was 3:45 in the morning. I could hear the TV- I knew she was awake.

"Alison Richards! Get in here now!"

"Mum?" I answered, before running down the stairs and into the kitchen. "What's up?"

"Why am I hearing that you're going back on tour from Twitter rather than from you?!"

"Mum, I literally just got off the phone with Harry organising the entire thing. I called down to you as soon as we were off the phone. Do you want to know what happened?"

"Obviously!" She grinned.

"Well he called and said that he would love for me to come back and whatever I decided he would support me. So I'm going back, in a week. The ticket to Houston is coming in the mail."

"It's about time. I knew you would go back." She grinned.

"How?"

"I see the way that you and Harry behave around each other. You guys are inseparable. I'm surprised that you stayed mad for this long."

"I'm a new person." I smirked. "I have to call Giordy and Avery." I said, giving her a big hug.

"I'm proud of you for giving him another chance."

"I'm not giving him another chance. I'm just going back."

"Okay." My mum said, lifting her hands in protest. "You guys are broken up?"

"That's what the tabloids say."

"What do you say?"

"I say I have to go phone my friends. Bye, mum!" I smiled, before running upstairs to phone Giordy and Avery and begin packing- again.
