My Opinions on Every Total Drama Couple/Ship: Edition #2

Noah and Courtney (Ship)

  I think the canon couple Noah and Emma may have a little competition with this ship.  Noah and Courtney being together as a couple makes a lot of sense character wise.  Both characters can be really full of themselves, stand out for being extremely intelligent, aren't afraid to speak their minds, and can be quite sarcastic at times.  Better yet, Courtney doesn't have Emma's character flaw of being a little stalker-like towards her boyfriends, which could hurt Emma's relationship with Noah in the future.  Also, both characters are different enough to truly stand out as a couple.  Courtney is way more driven than Noah, and Noah has to be one of the most sarcastic characters in any show I've ever watched.  Their relationship would be well liked by fans for sure, and boost ratings.

  However, two things hold this couple back.  The first is the fact they have never interacted in canon.  Courtney most likely doesn't know Noah all that well, and probably has no plans as of now to even consider it.  She is still way too busy being angry at Gwen for "stealing" Duncan from her, and might have been eaten by a shark in Total Drama: All-Stars.  The second and final straw is Noah's position in the whole love triangle between Courtney, Gwen, and Duncan.  If he supported Courtney, then the chances of them being together are better.  If Noah supported Gwen though, which is the most likely answer considering Owen, his best friend, was on Gwen's side, there is no way he is going to consider Courtney as a girlfriend in the future.  Besides, Noah is happily in love with Emma for now, so he isn't looking for love right now.

  Rating:  7.5/10  (I still like Noah with Emma much better, but this ship is very good.  It makes a lot of sense character-wise and I could actually see it happening.)
