Looking Back

Comparing this book to the last edition, I'd say the first edition was much better.  It was a lot more structured with way more canon couples and ships that weren't just talked about for how ridiculous they were.  This edition's greatest flaws was the fact I overwhelmed it with so many ships, and the few canon couples I focused on were lesser known.  Really, this should have just been a book of ridiculous ships, and I really apologize for it.  If I come out with a third edition, it will be when there are more than enough canon couples to cover and ships that are more well known.  I'm not making this kind of mistake twice and I promise for better content in the future.

I'm also not proud at the fact that I delayed my Ridonculous Race reviews for both editions of these books.  If I hadn't focused so heavily on these two books, the reviews would definitely be done by now.  Instead, I've got ten reviews to finish still, and I don't know if a lot of people are interested in seeing them.  I'm going to upload the reviews at my own pace, which is about a review every two days.  My goal is to finish them at the end of the month and then move on to more original content.  When I finish those reviews, I'm seriously going to do a happy dance back home.  I've worked so hard on them and it will be a huge weight off of my shoulders once they are completed.

There are things I'm proud about with these books though.  I am happy at the fact that the first edition has over 1,000 views and is still growing in viewership right now.  Also, there are the many friends I met along the way who are huge Total Drama fans like me.  Getting all of those friends as followers on my page was probably the most important thing I got from writing these books.  Back in my home, none of my real life friends like Total Drama and are more interested in different shows.  It makes me feel kind of lonely being the odd man out by liking this cartoon, especially with people in my high school now being in the age group where animated shows are "uncool".  I fear if I talk about the show at all at school, I'll be teased for liking kiddie shows or kind of looked down upon.  Writing these books and getting those friends helped me escape that lonely feeling I had before, and really I am thankful for all that happened.

Leaving these books for a while, I plan on writing a ton of original content on my page that isn't Total Drama related.  In February, there is the release of my first serious short story Going Too Far, which is far different from the stuff I've written before.  It has a mature theme and focuses on the damaging effects of jealousy on a person.  Also, a piece I originally wrote for a contest will start to be released.  The reason for it not being released before was how huge I made the story, and the deadline being far too stressful on me.  Therefore, expect chapters to be released of this idea I had to come right after I finish Going Too Far.  More minor updates also include contest entries, weekly contests I do now, and finishing that list of cliches.  As for my involvement in the Total Drama fandom, I'm still going to be active, but just not releasing that much in the next few months.  The next big thing that I'll release will be a fan fiction, but that won't be until summer vacation starts.  Yeah, I'm going to be quite active on this page.

Thank you so much for all the support and I hope only for the best in the future.
