Complicated (5 Seconds of Summer)

The Kiss

~Calum's P.O.V~

"Hey mate are you alright you're spacing out." Luke and Michael asked me. "Um yeah. Hey Charlotte how is she doing?"

"Hey you okay? Amy? Amy?! AMY?! AMY LOOK AT ME C'MON! LUKE CALL AN AMBULANCE! SHE ISN'T WAKING UP!" Charlotte screamed. Oh no she blacked out.

We all started to panic. Maddie and her sister ran in asking what had happened? Charlotte tried to explain but she kept sobbing between each sentence. So Michael explained it to Maddie.

There was a knock at the door. It was the paramedics. They put her on the gurney and rolled her away into the ambulance. "Okay I will ride with her. All of you can go with Maddie." Liz exclaimed.

When we got there, I ran into the building asking where she was. Liz told me to be calm but I just need to see that she was okay. I don't know why I'm so worried and over-protective of her. All I know is that I want her to be safe.

"Mate, chill and sit. They said she is fine we can go see her in a minute." Ashton tried to calm me down. I looked over at Charlotte to see how she was doing. She was balling her eyes out into Luke's chest and kept saying she was a horrible friend. Luke tried to comfort her but she didn't listen.

How could this happen? She only just got here and she is laying in a bed at a freaking hospital. I shouldn't have gone with her.

"Hey Cal you said that Lexi was here. Why? I thought she moved." Ashton asked.

"Umm yeah but hey don't ask me why cause I have absolutely no idea." I replied.

"I bet she's here for you"

"Really Ash? Right now?"

"Well sorry for trying to lighten up the mood." I was about to flick his ear but the nurse came just in time to stop me.

"Is she okay?" We all asked in unison.

The nurse nodded. "She's fine. Who wants to go see her first?"

Everyone then turned their heads to face me. I guess I'm going. I stood in front of the door and opened it. I saw her. She looked right at me. "Hey." she said with a smile. "You came?" I gave her a confused look.

"Of course I came. I was with you when all this happened. Why wouldn't I come?" I asked. She gave me a weak smile. The rest of the boys and Charlotte had walked in. Well actually Charlotte sprinted in and hugged Amy.

"I'm so glad you're okay I've been worried sick! You know you should stop skating, you might get hurt even more than you already are. You don't have any broken bones do you?" Charlotte begged for answers.

"Oh my god Char! Stop it! What are you my mother?! I'm fine okay just leave it." Amy snapped. She paused. "Look I don't mean to be like this, I just really wanna go home and sleep."

"We can tell. Come on, I'll take you home." I told her. "Liz just signed so release papers so let's go." She got up and walked towards me. I walked her to a taxi. We hopped in and went home.

Instead of taking her to her place I took her our place cause I had no idea where she lived. I guess I should have thought of that before. I took her inside and told her to rest on the couch a bit. I went to go get her some tea when I heard the door open. The boys had come home.

"Hey mate! How is she doing? Wait what is she doing here I thought you took her home?" Luke asked pointing to her. "I kinda don't really know where she lives so she is gonna spend the night here." I tried to explain. They all nodded. Luke and Ashton went to their rooms. Michael walked to the kitchen and made himself a sandwich.

"You like her don't you?"Michael asked me.

"I don't known mate. I honestly don't know. I mean I think I do. It's just too complicated."I replied

"Well trust me when I tell you this, you have a connection with her." I looked at him completely lost. He didn't say anything after that. He just went to his room. Okay he freaked me out a little.

"Hey Amy. Do you wanna take my bed? I can sleep on the couch." I asked.

"Um no you sleep in your own bed. I'll sleep on the couch. Don't even try to argue with me cause I am not going to have one of those clichè moments okay, so just go to bed." she replied. I didn't want to make her mad so I just nodded and walked away.

~2AM~

*Boooooooom*

I heard the sound of thunder and saw the lightning outside. Damn it was pretty bad. I suddenly heard the door slightly open. I checked to see who it was. Amy.

"Um I'm not being scared at all but um..." She paused. "Do you mind if I sleep here for the rest of the night?"

Was she really scared of a storm.

*Boooooooom*

We heard another sound of thunder and she jumped into my bed and pulled the covers over her head. "Aww it's okay babe, nothings gonna hurt you." I said cuddling her reassuring her that she was safe with me. She kept whimpering at the thunder. I stroked her hair and she fell fast asleep. she looked so cute when she sleeps. I kept stroking her hair until I too fell fast asleep.

~Amy's P.O.V~

"Hey guys come look . Don't they look cute together. When and how did this happen?" I could hear people whispering but I was too lazy to open my eyes. "Guys keep it down you're going to wake them." I heard Charlotte whisper to the others in the room. So I decided to speak with my eyes closed.

"You guys do know I can hear every single word that comes outta your mouths right."I heard them walk out the room. Suddenly I felt a hand stroke my hair. I opened my eyes and saw Calum giving me a smirk. I had forgotten why I was sleeping in Calum'a bed when he was also in it.

"You were afraid of the thunder." He told me. Wait did I say all that out loud. "Yes you did." He said. I have myself a face palm. He chuckled.

Well don't get used to my company cause this was the first and last time you will ever get it. He chuckled again. I don't get exactly why but it was getting really annoying.

"Shhh, just stay quiet Amy." He started to lean in. I was frightened of what he was gonna do. Next thing I know his lips were pressed against mine. I tried to fight but have in seconds later. Then I blacked out.
