The Perfect Night

~Amy's P.O.V~

"Amy I can't promise you that you won't get hurt but I can promise you that I will never leave you. I will always be by your side no matter what. You're too special of a person to let go. I'd love to get to know you more."

What going on here? Don't tell me he is going to try again. I barely got out of the last situation. He got up from his swing and walked towards me. He stopped my swing and stood in front of me. He leaned in and kissed me. The words he said just a few seconds ago hit me. It replayed through my mind. Maybe he will be different. Who knows? I kissed him back. For some reason it felt right.

We hung out a bit longer at playground. He still pushed me on the swing a couple times. We cuddled under a tree after.

My phone vibrated minutes later.

"Where did you guys go?"

Don't ask about the contact names cause I didn't put them in.

-Me
"We are at a playground. Don't worry we'll on our way back now. Tell Charlotte not to call the police."

"Okay, she just put the phone back. How did you...never mind just come back quick or we are eating without tou!"

-Me
"Hey!! Don't leave us out! We are coming! Don't you dare eat without us Hemmings or you will regret it!"

He didn't text me back after that. I swear that boy won't ever see the light of the next day if any one eats without me.

"Cal?!"

"Yeah babe?" I started to blush. Aww he called me babe.

"Your boy Hemmings said if we don't get back they are gon-" he grabbed my hand and dragged me with him. I assumed he already knew what I was going to say.

"Did....you...h...have...to...pull...me...all...the...way!" I said between breaths. We were at the house finally. I'm beginning to think that I live here instead of with Charlotte and Liz.

Cal opened the door and ran inside. Thank god he didn't grab my hand again I was already put of breath.

I went inside and saw Charlotte already sat down and reaching out for food.

"Charlotte Roberts. Do my eyes deceive or are you about to eat without me!" She quickly pulled her hand back. "Good girl." She pouted.

Calum finally remembered that I was still here. He walked up to me and grabbed my hand. He led me to the table and helped me to my seat.

I looked around and saw everyone's face in shock.

"What?" I asked.

"Care to explain what happened with you two without any of us present." Charlotte meant by 'any of us' meaning her.

"Can I just stuff my face first before we have any real conversation?" They all nodded. Oh boy. I've got a lot of excuses to make.

Once everyone was done Charlotte ordered me and Calum to sit in the lounge for questioning. What is this? An episode of NCIS, which by the way is a great show!

"Okay sooooo, what happened?! I want details people! Give me the juice!" I could tell Charlotte knew what was up.

"What are you talking about? He just found me at the playground and told me to come back so I did. Nothing special." I gave a slight smile. The only thing wrong with me lying is that I can't lie to Charlotte. I don't know if she is psychic or is just plain creepy but she always knows what's right or wrong in my head.
