Chapter 5

"My lady what are you still doing up this hour"

As the voice said that I looked behind me to see this dwarf with long dark hair looking at me and I knew it was King thorin so I said

"I want to join you"

As I said that he walked up closer to me and said

"I don't think your father will allow that"

"I don't belong here, I belong out there in the world, please take me I can help you I can save you"

"Save me, what do you mean save me"

"All I know is that if you go out there by yourself you will not live to see yourself become king and you will not be the only one who will die your nephews will die with you"

As I said that he looked down and said

"You can protect us"

"Well I can try"

With that he placed a hand on my shoulder and said

"Then yes you can join but you will not be the only one that will be doing the protecting"

"What do you mean"

"I will protect you as well I don't want your father to loose a loved one"

As he said that I looked down and said

"He already has"

"What do you mean by that"

"Nothing"

With that he smiled then said

"Great I'll just tell fili to wake the others while you go and pack"

As he said that I smiled then walked to my room and started packing my bags and things that I needed for the journey ahead of me. I stepped out of my room and started walking to the front but I was interrupted by someone saying

"Kalgan what are you doing"

With I looked behind me to see kili standing there so I said

"Joining you"

As I said that he walked up to me and said

"What no you can't you will die and I will not have that you are not coming with us"

"And so will you and you can't tell me what to do you may be a prince but you don't rule over me"

With that I moved away from him then walked to the rest of the company to only hear kili saying

"Kalgan wait, please Kalgan"

But instead of me waiting for him or stopping for him I just continued walking to the company.

Kili povs
"Kalgan wait, please Kalgan"

As I said that I saw that she didn't stop walking so I just stood there feeling heart broken and scared because she is going to join the company anything could happen to her so I started walking but before I could reach the end of the hallway I heard fili say

"Kili what are you doing go get ready"

With that I turned around and said

"She is joining us fili what if she dies what if she never becomes mine"

As I said that fili walked up to me placed a hand on my shoulder and said

"Do you know who you are talking about, you are talking about an elf part wolf she can protect herself now go and pack we leave soon"

With that I walked to my room and packed and go ready for the journey ahead of me.

Elronds pov
"My lord the company it's gone and so is Kalgan"

As lindir said that I stood up and said

"How long ago did they go"

"A couple of hours ago"

As he said that I walked up to him and said

"Do you know what she packed"

As I said that lindir looked at me and said

"She is ok she can take care of herself"

With that I calmed down then walked back to the table wondering if Kalgan is ok and if thorin will keep her alive.
