My sweet surrender

Chapter 20

We sat in the boat watching as all the buildings where falling and burning to only feel kili hold my hand so i held his tighter to only hear tauriel through mind read say

"So are you going back to erebore or coming back with us"

As she said that i looked at her then back at kili to only see the love of my life starring back at me smiling so i smiled then said through mind talk

"I'm going back with kili, where I belong"

"You belong back at mirkwood with your father"

"No I don't he doesn't want me so there is no use going back"

As i said that i heard screaming and I heard kili say

"I saw it, I saw the arrow hit the mark"

As he said that i looked at the dragon in the sky to only hear tauriel say

"No he didn't there is nothing that can kill it"

With that I saw the boy get out of the boat so i tried to stop him to only hear tauriel say

"No leave him we can't go back we must keep moving forward and get out of here"

With that I sat back down and held the youngest tightly wishing we would get out of here, wishing father would take me back.

A few hours later
I got out the boat and walked up to Legolas and pulled him in a hug to only hear him say

"Please don't forget me"

As he said that I hugged him tighter to only feel him hug you back and to only hear myself say

"Never and please tell father that I love him"

As I said that he kissed my head and said

"He knows"

With that I heard kili say

"Kalgan come on we have to go"

With that I looked back at him to only see him standing on the shore waiting for me so I said

"I'll be there soon"

With that I looked back at Legolas to only feel tear forming in my eyes so I wrapped my arms around his neck to only hear him say

"Bye little one I love you"

With that he kissed my head so I pulled apart and said

"Bye Legolas I will never forget you"

With that I walked back to kili, when I got to kili he pulled me closer then kissed my head and said

"You are now apart of our family and I love you"

With that I crashed my lips with his to only feel him kiss me back and to only feel myself pull away from him and when I did I said

"I love you to kili"

With that we both got back in the boat and made our way back to erebor but before we could get out sight I looked back to only see my brother, the only one who has ever showed me what love feels like apart from kili, the only one who has loved me for me apart from kili looking back at me while fading into the distance and I knew right there that I will never see him again and that I will never be able to hear him say name all because of father, all because I wasn't like him.
