Kilis pov: a few days later
I looked at the body laying on the coffin to only see Kalgan looking back at me so I cried a tear to only hear fili say
"I'm sorry brother"
As he said that I cried another tear to only hear myself say
"She told me to not tell her that I love her until I came back from the battle but I can't she's dead, fili the love of my life is dead, what do I do"
As I said that he placed a hand on my shoulder and said
"I know this might sound harsh but move on but don't forget her, she wanted you to be the King that kingdom has seen so do it but always remember her"
As he said that I placed her hand in mine to only feel her cold soft skin touching mine so I allowed a tear to fall from my cheek to only feel myself peck a kiss on her lips and say
"Goodbye my love, I'll see you in another life, I promise"
With that I pulled away then turned around to only see her brother standing there so I took a deep breath then said
"I'm sorry"
With that he placed a hand on my shoulder and said
"You did the best you could"
With that I looked back to only see her lifeless body on the coffin and knew right there that she was my sweet surrender and my last goodbye so I walked away to my room to only have tear falling down my face and to only see Kalgan run through my mind and I knew that I had to move on and that I had to say goodbye to her.
A few years later: kilis pov
I walked down the hall with Kalgan in my arms and Karen by my side holding my hand tightly so I looked at her kissed her to only feel her kiss me back so I pulled apart to only see Kalgan looking at me so I smiled and said
"I love you two, your my whole world"
With that Karen smiled and kissed me so I kissed back to only have the image of Kalgan run through my mind so I pulled apart to only Kalgan say
"Daddy can you teach me how to a shot please"
As she said that I smiled, placed her on the ground and said
"Sure lets go"
With that she ran ahead so I followed her knowing that I let Kalgan go, knowing that I know that she is in a better place and that I will see her again in a different life.
