Beyond the river .

Snow!

" gwwwwaaaaahhh" foot steps stomped around the house and when I opened my eyes I saw peppy trying to jump on to my seat but his little legs were too small and he couldn't , it was kinda cute. I picked him up and he sat on the seat , I lifted myself up and swung my legs of the seat and rested my back on the back of the seat with peppy on my lap curled up into a ball.

" Cleo? Cleo its a Saturday, you don't gave work !" I shouted and Cleo came running into the room .

" yeah,yeah, I know but livis comin' "

" who's livi?"

" Olivia "

" what!" I jumped causing peppy to growl at me , I jumped of the seat and stood just in front of Cleo " why?! Why is she coming?"

" I no know "

" She said she's... She- Mari!?"

My head started to spin and I grabbed it , I felt Cleo grab my shoulders , I wasn't sure what was going on but o was now so close to the floor and my eye lids felt heavy . I looked at our floor one last time and saw Cleos face , she was screaming something but all I could hear was ringing until my eyes stick close and I couldn't open them .

" MARI!" I heard laughing and felt a grip around me , it was cute , happy laughing . " Mari , I missed you" I felt cold tears on my skin " Mari? Mari why don't you ever go to see me ? I know it wasn't your fau- frr- ulllth-" the happy , cute , go lucky voice disappeared and a demonic deep voice was now here " come on Mari. Come . Come. We all want you to." I threw myself away from the grip of this demonic voice. When I looked up to see who it was I wasn't that surprised " Mari, we could be together again - like we always promised " that deep voice did not match Millys cute image , her frizzy hair bouncing every time she talked . This was Millys body but it wasn't Millys soul.

" Mari!"

"Oh , this dream just get weirder as it goes !" I shouted turning to Snow who was behind me , he just called my name and was now looking at me confused.

" Mari, this- " he sighed " we need to get going "

"Snow, why does this keep popping up like - what the-" he grabbed my hand , pulled me up and pushed me in between two walls that wasn't there a second ago .

" we- i need you to come back . Your the only one who-"

" where are we ?!"

" in a dream land , you can do anything you want here -"

" if that's the case"

I had grown use to weird stuff happening where ever I went and after Millys indecent I just kinda learnt to go with the flow and go whatever way things are going , so in this situation it was useless to worry about things and I just went with the flow - if I could do anything here then the first thing I was going to do was get both of these idiots out of my mind .

" Mari , have you grown old ?"

And then you ask a question like that...

" yeah, 18 now."

" 18! Wow , I can't wait till you come and see u-me again!"

"What ?! "

" nothing "

I closed my eyes and faced the monster. I pushed my hands to the side , one foot in front of the other like a cat , stood up tall and opened my eyes staring into the eyes of small Milly , her eyes where deep black the filled to whole eyes. I pulled my left hand up a bit till it was in front of me , held out my arm with my hand sideways like I was holding a hand gun and pulled the lever, a small black hand gun appeared in my hand , my hand was on its side so the gun was on its side. The bullet pushed through the air and landed in Millys chest , tears steamed down my face - I wasn't sad because I knew that wasn't Milly but the fact her body was there shook my heart s bit. The monster stood still then screamed in pain and bent down holding onto its wound.

" b-but bullets can't hurt demons" Snow told me as he walked out the wall which then disappeared leaving us in a white area that looked like a plain box .

" yeah , I know."

" so -"

" I've watched enough horror films to know to never use a gun." I placed my hand down and faced Snow , the gun disappeared instantly and I pushed my long , dark brown hair back behind me back. " however, I saw this one where this priest - yeah I know right, a priest! Nah, but he had a gun and the bullets had holy water in them and I always thought that was cool , but obviously just a bullet won't kill them it will just make them be in pain for , like, I don't know , a long while. Soo...." I wiped my eyes and held out my right hand as a dark green grenade appeared in my hand and I threw it at Millys body and the monster screamed as smoke fell out and when the smoke faded away mills body laid dead on the floor and I guessed that the monster was gone and slowly Millys body broke like glass and disappeared. See? Just a shield.

I looked back at Snow who had his mouth open a bit and was staring at where Millys body use to be, his left eye was twitching a bit and his whole face was saying 'who the hell is this girl?! What the hell did she just do , like - what the ? What just happened?!'

" the priest did the too , before he died."

" what kind of horror films do you watch?!"

" I no know, what ever ones Cleo puts on." I sighed then held out my left hand as the gun appeared again " now, tell me why I shouldn't do the same to you?" I smiled

" because I knew you when you were 5?"

I shot next to him and jumped tuning to the side a bit , I took a step closer to him.

" because I helped you ? Once" his voice squeaked as he hide behind his hands . I shot next to him once more taking more steps towards him until he fell to the ground . He was wearing a white cloak with no hood and black trousers with a white jumper , and he looked about 19 ."guess you don't have a good shot today?" He smiled at me , I lifted my right hand where another grenade appeared .

" because this is a dream?!" He shouted at me and I took another step till my toes were touching his toes, he lifted his head up staring at me with deadly eyes.

" oh, 3 wrong answers, you know what that means" my smile grew bigger and waved the weapons in his face.

" bloody hell you demonic woman , I'm surprised your not a demon and your soul is so pure- but I guess having a heart as strong as yours this is what you have to do."
