As I walked down the hall to find Joe, I thought about what I would be able to do to save the world and what there is to save the world from. Those questions of who, what, when, where, why, and how, were buzzing around in my head and I couldn't get them out. I then decided that thinking about it wouldn't help me. I would have to wait until the path is before me.
"Jake, there you are." Joe said running to me from behind.
"There you are Joe. I was just looking for you. Do you want to go outside and play?" I asked with a smile on my face.
"That's what I wanted to ask you. Come on." Joe said taking off down the halls.
"Don't run in the house Joe." I called out as I walked after him.
We went outside into the big backyard of the mansion to find a large lake and many kinds of orchards there in Steffens yard.
"Whoa, This place is amazing." I said in aw.
"Yeah, it is. Hey, do you want to play hide and seek?" Joe asked eagerly.
"Sure, I would love to." I answered.
"I'll count; you hide." Joe said running up to a tree and then started counting to fifty.
I ran as fast as I could in the opposite direction I intended to hide in to through him off my track. I then circled around to find a good hiding spot, when I came across a big tree on the edge of Steffens yard and decided to hide there.
'Joe will never find me here.' I thought to myself while mentally patting myself on the back for being so clever when at choosing a hiding spot.
As I leaned against the tree, the ground underneath my feet started to give away and I slipped into a hidden hole in the ground there. I fell through the hole and into a large cave. I must have fallen forty feet to the ground down bellow. I landed with a loud thud and then groaned from the pain in my back and legs. I then stood up and noticed that I hadn't been hurt very much from the fall. I looked around and found that I could see almost perfectly in the pitch black cave.
"Where am I?" I asked out loud.
"You're trespassing in my secret cave and now I a=can't let you leave." A voice said seeming to come from all around me.
I looked around trying to locate the source of the voice; but couldn't.
I then yelled out, "Who are you?"
"I am Astral the warrior. Who are you?" He asked back.
"I'm Jacob Strongheart the blue warrior." I said trying to be brave.
"That's not funny little boy." He said obviously thinking that I was mocking him and making fun of him and all other armored warriors.
"I'm not joking. I am the blue warrior." I said while trying to locate a way out of the cave without letting him know what I was doing.
"Then prove to me that you're trustworthy. Show me your blue armor." He said demandingly.
I was in trouble; I've never activated my armor. I don't know how to. 'What do I do!?' I yelled at myself in my head.
"I...I don't know how to activate my armor." I said lowering my head not knowing what anything else I could say at that point.
"You say you're the blue warrior and you haven't even activated your armor? What kind of joke is this!? Do not jest with me!" He yelled furiously at me.
"I'm a new warrior!" I finally snapped at him. "I've only been a warrior for three days! Three days! I don't have control over everything yet! What do you expect from me!? Do I look old enough to control my powers!? I'm only six!!" I yelled showing my rage.
