Chapter-15 Using Ladorian Energy

I opened my eyes to find myself back on the plan back at the airport.

"Thank you for flying with us today." The stewardess said.

"Wow, Jake." Joe said getting up. "You slept the whole way the and back."

"Yeah, I did." I yawned.

"Come on you two, lets get moving." Dad said while collecting his things.

We left the airport and walked back to our house, it's not that far from the airport, and once we got there I noticed how much more sharp our house looked with my new eye.

"Wow." I said out loud by mistake.

"What?" Mom asked.

"It's the... uh... the clouds. They look cool." I said thinking of the first thing that came to mind.

"Yeah, they are beautiful aren't they." She said.

"Yeah, they are." I agreed.

'I've got to be more careful than that. I could have blown my secret.' I thought to myself.

"It's getting late." Dad said opening the door. "Let's get something to eat and then go to bed."

We went inside and immediately into the kitchen and started cooking dinner. We had tater tots and salisbury steak for dinner and then went to bed. I got into bed and put my hat onto the headboard of my bed and then fell to sleep.

When I opened my eyes, I was back in the white training room with Sensei again.

"Three times in one day? You are really trying to push as many lessons into this day that you can aren't you?" I asked Sensei.

"Yes I am. You need to learn how to use your energy now that you can use your armor." He explained motioning for me to stand up. "To use your energy, you have to focus you energy into both of your hands, like you did when you were activating your armor, and force that energy out of your body though your hands. Then think about either the ball of energy you created flying forward at a target or it expanding into a shield that will cover whatever you want it to."

I nodded and started to focus like he told me. I could fell the energy gathering in my fingertips and growing with each passing second. Then my hair lit up and my eyes started glowing. It was a sign that I was using my powers. Then I started to push the energy out of my hands and into the gap between them. A small, blue ball of energy that matched my eye color appeared and started growing until it was the size of a basketball. Then I thought of it expanding into the blue shield that my watch created earlier for me, like Sensei told me. I was surprised when it suddenly exploded, sending me ten feet away from where I was standing.

"Whoa, that's a lot of power." I said getting up and trying again.

This time, I moved my hands apart from one another and face my palms away from me. This time, it worked and the shield was created just like the one before. Then I had the idea to try to change the size of the shield. I moved my hands in front of me and I started to bring them closer together until the shield was just a little ball right in front of me. Then I let go of the shield and the energy dissipated into the air around me filling me with energy again.

I then tried shooting the energy ball. I did what I did for the shield until I got to the part where I would move my hands.

'If I think of it just going forward, then it will probably explode again. Maybe there is a hand movement to it too.' I thought.

I then brought the ball to my side. And started to think of it spinning faster and faster; and it did. Movement and thought control this energy ball. I the brought my hands forward as quickly as I could in a pushing motion sending the spinning ball of energy flying. Before too long, it exploded showing of the blue energy it had with a spectacular blue energy light show. It was truly beautiful.

"Good job. That is all you need to know to start yourself on your path to becoming a warrior." Sensei said.

"I thought you were going to teach me how to be a warrior?" I asked.

"No, I can only show you the path. The decisions that you will make will determine you growth as a warrior. Only you can chose which path you will follow and what course of actions you will use. You will gain experience as you get older and you will learn right from wrong too; but you and only you can chose for you to do the right thing."

"So, is this the last lesson that we will have together?" I asked.

"No, I will still train you on how to use your swords and power form many more years to come. It will become almost a daily routine for you." He said. "Now go get your rest. Tomorrow is another day to learn about your powers."

With that everything faded to black.
