Chapter 9: Searching

"Lucy !!!" Natsu screamed as they flew over the city of magnolia. "Lucy !!"

"Lucy-San!" Wendy called out, watching as Erza and Gray ran through the streets, screaming for her.

They had been sent out to search for her.

Wendy and Natsu, together with Lisanna and Gajeel took the sky. The rest was going to search the city and ask people. But Natsu could still almost feel that she wasn't in the city.
If she was, he would've smelt her, but Erza said that they would begin here and then search places they knew Lucy could've visited before she went missing.

"Lucyy!!" Happy called out.

Yukino ran through the city, her heads turning everywhere.
"Excuse me!" She asked, out of breath. "Have you seen a blonde celestial Mage!?"
"Celestial Mage?" The man asked. "I've seen many blondes, but a celestial mage? I'm not sure I would recognize someone with celestial keys powers."
"Blonde hair, brown eyes, blue skirt?"
"Sorry, miss." He said and shook his head.
"Thank you anyway." Yukino said and bowed before she began to run again.

"Lucy!" Lisanna screamed as she flew over the city, Gajeel and Lily by her side. "Lucyy!"

"Damn." Erza said as she slowed down before she stopped. "She isn't in the city."

"If she would've been, the dragon slayers would've known by now." Gray said with a heavy sigh. "Let's gather everyone."

Erza nodded.

"Yes, looks like we must search elsewhere."

"Yeah, but else where is a big place. Where could she have gone?" Gray asked, crossing his arms.

"Anywhere by now, Gray. If she did leave on her own will, that is." Erza said with a sigh.

"Hate to say it, but I hope she was kidnapped. " Gray said, looking down.

"Me too, Gray, Me too."

"Erza!"
Erza turned around just as Wendy landed on the ground with Charle.

"Found anything?" Erza asked.

"Nope." Wendy said and shook her head. "She's not in the city."

Erza cursed.

"any traces of her?" Levy asked, clutching her chest worriedly.
"No." Laxus said and shook his head.
They were all standing in the guild hall.
"Wendy, someone sent a message for you!" Warren exclaimed as he walked through the double doors.
"Really? Who?"
" some men in a village had problem with a injured girl."
"I coul-" Charle began but Warren interrupted.
"No need, as far as I Know, they are taking her to surgery. You won't make it in time to help her even if you wanted., she won't most likely make it."
Wendy sighed.
"Everything at once." Wendy muttered as Natsu walked through the guild doors.
"Natsu?" Juvia asked.
Natsu shook his head.
"No smell, no traces, nothing." He replied with a serious hard face. "Anything on the spirits ?"
"Not yet." Yukino said with a sigh.
"God damnit" sting groaned and ruffled his hair in frustration.
"What now?" Levy asked, Laxus crossing his arms.
Makarov stared deeply into the guild floor before he turned upwards
"We wait, the spirits are the only ones who knows for sure we're she went, we will check there, if she's not there then." He began.
"We contact the council, she would most likely in worst case scenario be kidnapped." Erza finished and Cana dropped her eyes to the floor.
"The council? What are they suppose to do?" Bisca asked, shooting up from her chair by the bar.
Alzack placed a loving hand on her shoulder.
"With the help from he council, we can send out words to every guild at the same time. If they can keep their eyes open, maybe they can find Lucy, or if they have already seen her." Erza explained.
"Exactly." Makarov said and nodded.
"And if they don't find her or haven't seen her?" Lisanna asked, swallowing.
Makarov's face darkened.
"Then we most assume the worst."
Levy bit her lip and Natsu slammed his fist into the table.
"Where are you, Luce!" Natsu thought with frustration.
