Harry Styles
Someone answered my prayers for the soundboard, a couple girls about an hour away had one stashed in a garage. I checked the guest list and their names were already on the list, well two and one unnamed guest. I told Tito to man the front doors and that when they arrive they're to be personally escorted to me.
I've got to get the soundboard to Timothy so he can set up his other music equipment, and the replacement will be delivered early before opening tomorrow.
My goal for this place is to be the best under twenty-one club in the state, and then America. Maybe I'll make a chain and start in London and go through Dublin, if I'm successful enough. I looked around the ground floor and saw the first issue. "No! What the hell is that?" I yelled at the waiters. They looked like a deer caught in the headlights. "Niall told us to put out a snack table."
I pinched the bridge of my nose when I felt a splitting headache coming on. "Excuse me, um," I couldn't find it in myself to remember his name, I looked to his name tag, but he wasn't wearing it. "Well I would know your name had you been wearing your name tag. Where is it?" I spent a lot of money to make sure that my employees looked professional with specially made name tags. "Oh, I'm Brennan, my tag is in my locker."
"Brennan, first off, wear your name tag at all times please. I understand that you weren't aware so no harm no foul. Secondly, I am the owner and I'm the one you answer to. Now, the food belongs in the kitchen. When it is ordered then a waiter or waitress will bring it to them. What floor are you assigned?"
The kid seemed to take my comments well. He's tough I like that. "I'm on the second floor."
I nodded my acknowledgment. "Are you serving the VIP lounge up there?" He shook his head immediately. I motioned for him to follow me. I walked ahead to the back room and up the stair case to my office. I sat down behind my large desk and pointed at the chair opposing mine. "So Brennan, tonight is our first night being open. Do you know the rules here?"
He nodded, "I do, Sir."
"Well, I'm going to trust you with our third floor VIP room, that's the only thing you need to worry about. Your floor will be well take care of. If I hear good things about your service then things will start to look up for you in your career here, and if not then I will find someone else to do a better job. Clear?" He nodded, "Yes, Sir."
"Alright get out of here and remove that snack table like I instructed, please." Again all he did was nod. After he left my office my phone bleeped and I saw another private Twitter message.
Thank my friend, Elvonna, not me. It's her board. It's also her birthday! Can we arrange a little birthday surprise? She hasn't even heard of One Direction! I want to blow her mind with how amazing your band is. I understand if you have other things planned due to tonight being the grand opening. Please let me know if such possibilities are available or not. Thank you so much! -Jodi
Jodi Walters and her twin sister Jolee were on the list, I checked. Jodi excitedly messaged me about three hours ago and explained the situation.
Ms. Walters, I am forever indebted to Elvonna. At 7:50 go to the front of the line and ask for a bouncer named Tito. Give him your name and he will escort you to me and we will set up the soundboard and discuss compensation for the temporary use of the board. As for the birthday surprise for my savior, and soon to be biggest fan, I will arrange something spectacular. I will clue you in when the final arrangements are made.
I called down to the kitchen from my desk phone. "Kitchen." One of the cooks answered but I couldn't tell who it was. "Have the entire night's preparations been finished?"
