Chapter 8- Flashback

Jonny's POV

'I realized as she finally fell asleep that the memories of her past were causing her to have flash backs and panic attacks. How could someone do that to a child. Make them so terrified that they couldnt stand to be touched. How could anyone possibly hurt a child so innocent, nieve and sweet? The thought made me furious. I knew it was only a matter of time before he found her. I knew i had to take steps to protect the poor girl who had lost so much already and touched my heart four years ago.

*Flashback*

I was walking down a block and there was a door open and a man yelling. I took a step inside and couldnt stand the sight that lay before my very eyes.

A woman lay lifeless on the floor. Her body so brused and swollen from the beating she had recieved.

The man before me yelling at a young girl who couldnt have been more than 16. "You saw something didnt you?"

The young girl in tears. Trying her hardest to put some distance between her and the man who was hitting her."No! I didn't see a thing i swear! No please don't hit me! I promise i didn't do anything wrong!"

The man hit her saying "you lying little slut!"

I had seen enough. I came into the room headed straight for the man.

"You can't take on somebody your own size so you beat on an innocent uoung girl?!" I said punching him harder until he was unconcious.

I ran over to the young girl. She looked up at me with fear and terror in her eyes and slipped into unconsciousness.

Her face and body already starting to swell and bruse. I called the only person i could think of. My grandpa, Austin Jacobsen.

"Grandpa, somethings happened. I need an ambulence. And you to come arrest a man."

"What happened?"

"They were beaten."

"They?"

"Yes. A mother and her daughter. Hurry please." as soon as i saw the woman's lifeless body. I instantly knew she had died.

An ambulence arrived. Soon after my grandfather and his partner, arrived.

"Do you know who the woman and girl are?"

"No."

"Good job son. Why don't you go with the poor girl to the hospital?" my grandfather suggested.

All i could do was nod my head. My mind filling up with the images of the girl terrified, hurt and scared.

When we got to the hospital my grandfather called.

"I learned their identity. Elise Carter-Smalley and Jayde Carter."

"Are you sure?"

"yes."

"Isn't that Jay's wife and daughter?"

"Yes. They've been missing for 11 years."
