Chapter 4 Jayde's Brothers

"Did you enjoy tonight Jayde?" Jonathan asked as they drove back to New York City.

"Yes. Thank you for taking me Jonny." She said giving him a huge smile.

"Any time Jayde. Any time." Jonathan said looking at Jayde.

"Why don't you go to sleep I'll wake you when we get to New York City."

Jayde soon fell asleep. When she woke she was in someone's arms being carried to a bed.

As soon as Jonathan tried to put her down, she wouldn't let go of his shirt and snuggled closer. Jayde was struggling to get closer to the body warmth.

"Jayde, you need to let me go." Jonathan said.

"Your so warm. I wanna sleep in your arms."

"Jayde I have to go I'll see you tomorrow."

Jayde was already asleep before he finished that sentence.

"Jayde! Jayde. Jayde wake up."

"That has to be the sexiest voice I have ever heard." Jayde thought.

Jonathan chuckled and said, "Well thanks sweetheart."

Jayde's eyes flew open. "Did I just say that out loud?"

"Yes sweetheart you said that out loud."

"Why me?" Jayde said covering her face with the pillow.

"Jayde, it's okay. You just called my voice sexy." Jonathan said with a huge smile on his face and removing the pillow from Jayde's face.

"Why did you wake me?"

"It's three o'clock. I thought that you would like to get ready for dinner with your brothers."

"What time are we meeting them?"

"5:30"

Jayde got up and rushed around the room. Jonathan just laughed as he watched her run frantically around the room.

"Where is Abby today?" Jayde asked realizing she hadn't seen her new friend since the shopping trip yesterday.

"She's at lunch with Jayden. One of our sisters. They meet for lunch every Thursday to chat about what has happened this week and who is dating who. And who has caused the most mischief this week."

He laughed as he thought about all the trouble Gherrett and he got into.

"You're a trouble maker aren't you?"Jayde said noticing the sparkle in his eyes.

"How could you tell? I can be serious though if I have to or when I'm with you."

"There was a sparkle in your eye that gave you away."

"Oh." He was quiet for a couple of minutes then asked, "are you in a relationship of any kind?"

"No. I mean there is my 'guardian angel' but other than him, no I do not. How about you?"

"There is this girl I rescued once and she stole my heart long ago."

"Oh" Jayde said and grew quiet. "Oh it's four already please help me find something perfect to wear?"

"How about the evening dress that starts out white and fades to purple?"

"Thank you Jonny!" She said taking the dress from him and going into the bathroom to shower and change.

Jonathan decided that he should leave the room so she could have some privacy.

"Jayde Evelyn! It's time to go."Jonathan says coming to knock on the door.
