Stiles pov:
Lydia grabbed onto me as soon as I got to the top of the hill, pulling me into the the hardest hug she'd ever given.
"You okay? Are you hurt? Ohmygosh you're bleeding." She speaks at a fast pace, delicately reaching her hand up to my forehead to wipe blood away.

"I'm fine." I say. Almost out of instinct, I dip down and capture her in a kiss in reassurance. She poured herself into it and I would've stood there all day with her if it weren't for the task at hand. Scott walks up from behind and pats me on the back so I break away from Lydia. I give her a nod in Scott's direction and she obeys, following after him.

"Hey, Allison." I call out. The brunette whips her head around and I jog to catch up. "Thank you." I say. She nods respectfully and we continue to walk back to the Yuki.
"Alright. How do we do this?" Scott sighs as we all crouch next to the hole again. Their was no logical explanation as to how or why the hole was so deep or even where it led to.

"Is it an illusion?" Lydia asks.
"No, we saw that snowball go way too far down." Allison counters, pushing more snow in for effect, as if to prove her point.
"Hold on a second, maybe Lydia's right." Without a second thought, I plunge my head into the hole making them all shout protests. I can feel the blood rushing to my head and sure enough, it was an illusion. More of a trick actually.

With little to no effort, I climb into the small tunnel hidden inside the hole and once again my friends are shouting scolds and tugging at my clothing. They soon realize what had happened and where I had went, following in closet behind me.
"No one brought a flashlight, huh?" I chuckle but no one laughs a long.

Uncomfortably clearing my throat, I start to crawl forward, assuming they'd just follow. And they did. After about ten minutes of straight forward crawling, the tunnel opens up into a well lit cavern. I jump down first, helping Lydia then Scott gets down and helps Allison.

"Now what?" Scott sighs as we all look around a bit. The source of light came from seemingly no where but given that this was a very supernatural world, no one bothered to argue.
"You hear that?" Lydia asks, catching all of our attentions.
"I'm pretty sure no one hears what you can Lydia." Allison says. I look over and Scott seems to be trying to hear it too.

Then it becomes clearer: the faint sound of footsteps coming in our direction. Allison catches on too, quickly pointing her cross bow towards the sound. Lydia swiftly moves behind me and Scott retracts his claws.

What comes into view is definitely not what I expected though. A beautiful young girl comes sprinting out of the dark, tears streaming down her face and her hair a tangled mess. The long white dress she wore was tattered at the edges, not only dirt marking the billowy material by blood as well. She collapses with a strangled cry, landing a good ten feet from our group of four.

I don't hesitate for a second before running out to her in a dead on sprint, struggling to breath as I reach her. The others are shouting at me as I run but quickly silence when I kneel to the ground and pick her up in my arms. She smiles gently as I brush hair from her face and she grips my arm.

"Been a while, sweetcheeks." She murmurs and I laugh at the old name.
"We need to go." She whispers and I nod. My gaze wanders up to see the other three have gotten closer, curiosity clouding their eyes. Carefully, I wrap one of her delicate arms across my shoulders, my other arm latching onto her waist and I can feel Lydia's hard stares.

"Stiles?" Scott presses.
"Uh...this is Emory." I introduce.

Authors note:

Happy (early) New Year! Couple of things.

First: I've been obsessed with this weird Hindi sounding song and it's called "Arazu". It sounds really weird but cool at the same time and I've just been listening to it nonstop. It's got kinda a creepy feel to it (at least for me), so check it out if you want. I did a lot of hard looking on the name and apparently it means hope in Hindi which is completely different from the tone of the song but I thought it was pretty cool.

Second thing: if you go to my reading list "Best of the best: Stydia" the book titled "Room Mates" is absolutely amazing. I stayed up till four in the morning reading it and I love how @Zaligirl writes.

Third thing: I feel like I don't say it enough but thank you guys for voting/reading/commenting so much! It makes my day when I check wattpad and find another follower or another comment or vote. I especially love reading comments (I read every single one ;) )and honestly it just makes me so happy so thank you all for that! LOVE YOU!!!!
