This was it, no turning back. My family reunion in Chicago was what I was going to attend. The sweat from my hands couldn't get any worst.

My family wasn't like others, they are the most craziest family you could ever meet, yet loving at the same time.

Unlike me, when I turned 18 I left to New York and worked on my photography as I attended college there. Once I graduated I didn't know where to go from there. I left New York and began to explore the states.

Anyways back to the point. Before I could knock the door opened revealing my mother, Grace.
"Oh Alina!" She says surprised. I smile and she smiles back before moving out the way for me to come in. "Well if It isn't our daughter Alina." My dad, Nolan says.

"Now we're just waiting for Patrick to complete the Kane Reunion." My Aunt Donna says smiling. "Patrick?" I ask. "I'm sorry whose that." I say taking my camera strap and placing it on my neck. "Our son silly." Aunt Donna says. "Oh sweetheart she probably doesn't remember Patrick." Uncle Patrick says.

Just then the doorbell rings and everyone turns to me to open the door of course. I walk to the door and pull it open to reveal a blonde boy. "You must be Patrick." I say. "Yes." He says smiling.

"Oh my god! Alina is that you!" Patrick says smiling. I nod and he chuckles. "You probably don't remember me, since the last time we saw each other was when I was ten which makes you seven." He says doing the math in his head. I smile and let him in before everyone crowds him giving him hugs and kisses.

"You okay there Monroe?" I smile and turn to face my brother Sam. The nickname Monroe, like Marilyn Monroe was given to me due to a picture I took back when I was in high school and my parents were obsessed with me taking photoshoots.

"Ya I'm fine." I say smiling.
"Good to see you kid." Sam says bringing me into a hug.
"You too."
"So what's up with Patrick? He seems to be getting a lot of attention." I add.
"He plays hockey." Sam says laughing.
"Your point?" I ask.
"Professional hockey. For Chicago Blackhawks." Sam says.
"Really? Wow." I say impressed.

Sam nods and I chuckle. "Well at least one of our family members made it to the big leagues." I say.

"Hey, Monroe what's up with you? Huh? Your going to make it the big leagues too. Keep taking pictures the way you do and I promise you'll make it." Sam says smiling. I nod and he smiles.

During dinner I was quiet as a fish. That was until Patrick turned the table to me.

"So Alina, I heard that your into photography." I freeze and stare at him. "Yup." I say picking at my mashed potatoes. "So tell me about it." Patrick says leaning back into his chair.

"Well it's simple at the moment. Just exploring the states at the moment. When I'm done I'm probably gonna see if I have any offers." I say. "Really? You should take pictures for our team. We're looking for a photographer for the team." Patrick says smiling. "I'll put it to mind." I say. Patrick smiles and cuts a piece of his steak.

"What else?" Patrick asks. "What do you mean?" I ask laughing. "You must have a boyfriend? Right?" I laugh and Sam joins in dying of laughter.

"Ya funny question Patrick." Sam says. "This girl is harder then a brick wall when it comes to dating." He adds. "Well I'm sorry that I take my work over my relationship status." I say.Sam laughs and Patrick nods. "Why don't you come to my game tomorrow? Both of you. It'll be great!" Patrick says smiling. I look over to Sam and he shrugs. "Sure why not." I say.

The next day Patrick stops by my hotel to lend me one of his jerseys.

"Seriously why don't you just stay at my house?" Sam asks walking into my bedroom. "Because I look my own personal space." I say curling the last piece of strand of hair. "Bullshit." Sam says laying on my bed. I roll my eyes and slip on the jersey Patrick lend me before reapplying my lipstick. I walk over to Sam and toss my car keys to him. "Let's go." I say.

The arena was big I won't lie. We had these special family passes from Patrick where we can visit them in the locker room.
We walk through the hallways where a soccer ball is launched at my head faster than I can move out of its way. Which results in me humiliated.
Sam's laughter is filled in the hallway as he stares down at me laying on the cold hard ground.

"Wow very considerate of you to help me up." I say to Sam before standing up. "Are you okay Alina?" Patrick asks helping me. "Ya I'll be fine." I say. "Don't worry Patrick. Alina used to be a soccer player. She got hit with balls all the time." Sam says laughing even harder. "Grow up would you?" I ask. Sam rolls his eyes and Patrick laughs. "You two are funny." "But you played soccer? Why don't you show us your skills?" Patrick adds,  "Ya!" His teammates yell behind him.

"Well I'm pretty sure my heels won't due for the job." I say looking down. "Oh that's okay, my wife left some shoes I'm sure you have the same size as her." One says before going to get them.
"Great." I whisper. "What was that?" Patrick asks. "Nothing." I say. He smiles and waves for someone. "Crawford be the goalie." He says pointing to a hockey goal used as a soccer goal.

"Here you go." The boy returns with shoes. I nod and remove my heels and replacing them with the shoes.
"Warning, I haven't played for several years." I say handing my heels to Patrick. Sam crosses his arms and laughs. "Correction, eight." He says.
"I'm going to shut you up if you do it by yourself." I say. Sam chuckles and pretends to zip his lips up.

One of them kick the ball softly to me in front of the goal where I kick it and it goes flying over the goalies head. I blush and another ball is kicked to me when I kick it, the goaltender blocks it.

"If I don't make it right now I quit." I says a the ball is kicked to me and I kick it right in the hole. "Yes!" I say sticking my tongue at Sam. Sam laughs and I do my happy dance around him.

"Nice dance moves." Someone says behind me. I turn to see a very tall man. "Oh shut it Toews, leave her alone." Patrick says laughing. "Hey it's a complement." The man says. Patrick shakes his head and hands me my heels one at a time as I remove the shoes I borrowed.

"Nice soccer skills too." The man says. Patrick rolls his eyes and turns to me. "Alina this is Jonathan. Jonathan this is Alina my cousin." Patrick says.
"Nice to meet you." Jonathan says shaking my hand before shaking Sam's introducing himself.

"So you two dating?" Jonathan asks pointing to Sam. "As if, I would date this ugly bitch." Sam says. "Hey keep it nice five head." I say back to Sam. "They're siblings." Patrick says. "Ya harsh ones." Jonathan says laughing.

"Your in photography?" Jonathan asks pointing to my camera bag. "Ya." I say smiling. "Hmm you should be the teams photographer we're looking for one." He says. "I already offered her." Patrick says.

Jonathan rolls his eyes and I smile. "What a wonderful couple. Right Sam?" I ask pointing to Patrick and Jonathan. "Agree." Sam says.
"Wow they agree on one thing at least." Patrick says.
