Chapter 5 : Hello's and Goodbye's

We get to the airport and say our goodbyes to David. Which were quick since we came late.

"My sister doesn't land until eight and it's six." I say.

"We can't go and eat, there's some restaurant around here." Jonathan says. "Can I drive?" I ask. "No I look your car. Might have to buy one of these for me." He says.

I laugh and he smiles taking off.

We settle on McDonald's since all the restaurants had a thirty minute wait.

"What do you want?" Jonathan asks. "Chicken nuggets and fries." I say laughing. "What do you want to drink?" He asks.

"Oh sweet tea." I say nodding. He nods and says the order.

We sit in the airport parking lot eating and cracking jokes about Patrick.

"So why don't you settle down back at your hometown?" Jonathan asks eating some of my fries.

"There's nothing here for me. I have family yes, but not once in my 25 years of life have I fell in love here." I say.

Jonathan nods and I smile. "I don't want to be alone my whole life." I add. "Ya I get it." Jonathan says nodding.

"My whole family has fell in love. Sam has a girlfriend soon to be fiancé, Christine is married with kids, and Michelle has a fiancé." I say.

"Don't worry about it, I'm sure you'll find someone." He says before checking the time and driving off.

"Look my sister and her hot hockey boyfriend." Michelle says walking over to me with her fiancé Cody.

"He's not-"
"Oh stop lying, aren't they cute Cody?" Michelle asks. Cody laughs and nods.

"Good now where's my hug?" Michelle asks opening her arms wide.

I smile and bring her into a hug.

"Jonathan this is my sister Michelle and her fiancé Cody." I say.

They exchange handshakes before Cody picks up their belongings.

"You know I should disapprove." Michelle says getting into my car.

"Disapprove of what?" I ask handing the car keys to Jonathan.

"Of you two."
"Here we go."

Cody laughs and I sigh.

"Here we go what? You know I'm a LA Kings fan and we do not like the Blackhawks." She says.

"Well that's your fault for getting brainwashed over there." I say. Michelle rolls her eyes and Cody laughs even harder.

"You know you can just beg Jonathan Quick to date you, make him forget about his wife. No even better, Alec Martinez. That's the way to go." Michelle says.

"Michelle calm down we aren't dating." I say.

"Why are you lying. Ya you are, of going to. I know you Alina and I know this. You like him." Michelle says.
