Chapter 34 : I Promise

Today we were leaving to LA. Which meant the boys' would play Jeff. Which means I would see Jeff, and I couldn't wait.

"Okay worm, calm down." Patrick says putting my bags in his trunk.

I smile and climb into the car.

Jonathan slowly walks out the house and I growl at his slowness.

"Cheer up buddy, at least your coming along." Patrick says teasing Jonathan about his arm.

I smile and Jonathan waves him off as he gets into the back seat.

When we land I see Jeff and Jonathan.

I laugh silently as Jonathan sends death stares at Patrick. Oh did I mention that Keilani came with us?

"Someone is in trouble." Jonathan says laughing.

"Keilani why didn't you tell me it was Patrick Kane!" Jonathan scolds her. "Remember who's older here." Keilani says. "I am." Jonathan says. "Right." Keilani says blushing.

"Well I wanted you to meet him in person." She says smiling. Jonathan rolls his eyes and walks away.

"Anyway, how you doing?" Jeff asks pulling me into a hug. "Good you?" I ask. "Great." He says smiling as he grabs my belongings.

"What happened to you?" Jeff asks Jonathan. "I got checked." Jonathan says rolling his suitcase.

Jeff chuckles and nods. "You'll be on the ice in no time." Jeff says as we start walking to the car.

"How's your leg?" Jeff asks. "Good, when I get back home I get one of those casts' where you can walk on it." I say smiling. Keilani chuckles at my answer and I smile proud.

"Okay then." Jeff says pulling out his keys.

"We have lunch with the boys if you wanna join." Jeff says. "Sure." I say as Jonathan nods in agreement.

"I'm pretty sure he has jetleg." I say. "I do not." Jonathan says rolling his eyes. "You always say that, yet when you wake up the next day your whining to me about not getting enough sleep." I say as Jonathan opens the car door for me.

"Whatever." Jonathan says kissing me once I'm in the car.

We get to Olive Garden and the boys are all in the back seated.

"Keilani!" They all shout. Keilani smiles and gives the boys' hugs.

"How does she know them all?" I ask Jeff. "She used to be our medical doctor, but left to Chicago when our sister Michelle left. They wanted to stay together." Jeff says sitting down.

"Ouch what happened?" Alec asks as he hugs me and shakes Jonathan's hand.

"Car accident." I say as I sit down next to Jeff.

"Texting while driving?" Quick asks. "No." I say rolling my eyes.

"What then?" He asks. "Black ice." Patrick says grabbing a bread stick.

Jonathan nods and turns to Keilani.

"Anyway Lina, how's the photography going?" Tyler asks. "Great." I say smiling. "That's good." He says smiling.

"Alina's so good she's going on a tour to show off her work." Patrick says smiling proud at me. I smile and the boys all clap.

"Well ain't that something to be proud of." Jeff says smiling.

"So when is this tour?" Alec asks. "Three months." I say. Jeff nods and Jonathan stiffens besides me.

"So have you popped the question yet?" Tanner asks smiling. "Of course not, he knows better to ask me of my approval." Jeff says.
