My mom comes home with Jeffrey tomorrow, and I couldn't wait to meet him. Even though I have so much anger towards him I still want to see the man he came to be.
"What's wrong?" Jonathan asks laying down besides me. He had a day off today and so did I. "Nothing just thinking about Jeffrey." I say.
"He followed his dream you know." I say turning to Jonathan.
"He wanted to be a hockey player, and my mom says he's a professional hockey player." I say smiling. "That's great, I hope I'll play him." Jonathan says chuckling.
I smile and Jonathan pulls me towards him. "It's our day off Alina, let's not think or anything. Days like this are rare." He says.
I nod knowing he's right. Jonathan rolls us over to where he's hovering over me.
"Did I ever tell you that even with no makeup and a messy cinnamon bun thingy you still amaze me with your beautiful looks." He says.
"A cinnamon bun thingy?" I ask giggling. "You know what I mean." He says smiling. "No I don't think so." I say rubbing my chin.
"It's like you want me to kiss you." Jonathan says. "Talking about a 'cinnamon bun thingy' has nothing to do with kissing." I say laughing.
"Your talking and I want you to shut up about he cinnamon bun thingy, and I'm sure kissing will resolve this." He says. "I don't know maybe you'll have to try." I say shrugging.
Jonathan smiles and leans down to plant a kiss on my lips.

We spent the afternoon in our bed before we both get up to order pizza.
We lay down together on the couch watching the LA Kings game.
"That's weird Jeff isn't there." I say looking at the players bench.
"He probably got hurt." Jonathan says kissing my temple.
"Hope he feels better." I say frowning. Jonathan nods and we both stay quiet for the game.
The doorbell rings and Jonathan jumps up to get the pizza which makes me laugh.
When Jonathan gets back he jumps on the couch besides me and opens the box. I laugh as he smiles at it like it was a box of heaven.
"I think it's my second favorite thing." Jonathan says taking a bite of his pizza.
"Oh really? What's your first then?" I ask curious. "Hockey." He says smiling. I playfully hit his shoulder and he smiles putting down his pizza.
"Hey I said thing. Your my favorite person, you should know that by now." He says before kissing me. "Gross pizza breath." I say wiping my mouth. "Ah the love you have for me." Jonathan says smiling.
My phone rings and Jonathan groans before I answer it.
"Hello?"
"Mrs. Alina Toews?"
I chuckle and Jonathan turns with a curious face.
"This is her."
"Great, well Matthew, my boss has called to remind you for tomorrow's show." A young ladies voice says.
"Okay thank you." I say before hanging up.
"Who was that?" Jonathan asks putting an arm over my shoulders.
"Matthew's assistant. She was reminding me for my event tomorrow and during that conversation she called me 'Mrs. Alina Toews' have any idea of how she might have gotten the idea of calling me that?" I ask. Jonathan grins and I smile knowing he had something to do with it.
