My dad and I were going out today, along with his daughters. It was one of his days off that he gets in the blue.
"Alina if you take any longer he will leave you!" Michelle yells. "Calm your tits!" I yell. Cody chuckles as he walks by my room.
I smile and grab my purse before leaving.
"Don't stress the baby out." I say as I close my door and see an angry Michelle. "Shut up and leave." Michelle says.
"Calm down baby." Cody says wrapping his arms around her. Michelle breathes in deeply and I smile waving goodbye to her.
I walk out and see my fathers car. I climb into the passenger seat since the girls were in the back.
"Hi." I say smiling at my dad as I get in. "Hi." He says before speeding off.
"So where are we going?" I ask placing my camera bag in my lap.
"We're actually going to visit some of my close friends then go to wherever you girls like to do." He says getting on the freeway.
"Sounds fun." Natalie says. Dad nods and we all stay quiet for the rest of the ride.
We get to this big house and all pile out the car.
When we reach the front door a young man answers it smiling. "Hi Mr. Hall." He says shaking his hand. "Hi Brett, how are you?" My dad asks.
"Good and you?" Brett answers. "Good."
"Brett these are my lovely daughter Beatrice, Alina, and Natalie." He says smiling at us. "Nice to meet you all." Brett says shaking our hands.
"My parents are in the living room." Avert says stepping away from the door to let us in.
"Thank you Brett." Dad says leading us in.
"You ladies go talk to Brett, I'm just gonna have a small talk with his parents." Dad says. We nod and Brett smiles nervously.
Brett leads us into the game room. "I'm guessing you three are all in your father's business?" Brett ask. "No." Natalie pauses. "I'm in the Navy, and Alina and Beatrice are photographers."
"Interesting, being in this family we all our forced to be in the business industry. Especially ours." He says leaning against the pool table.
Beatrice was quiet. Probably drooling over Brett due to her just starting at him.
"You. Your dating someone from the Blackhawks, and related to one." Brett says starring at me. "Yes that's me." I say nodding.
"Who are you dating again?" Brett asks.
I don't know? Was I still dating Jonathan? Oh well here goes nothing.
"Let's just say we're on the rocks at the moment, but Jonathan Toews." I say. "And related to Patrick Kane." I add.
"Sounds fun." Brett says. Can this guy get any worst? How does that sound fun? I'm almost not in a relationship with my fiancé and my cousin can be really annoying.
Well Patrick is amazing actually so I guess it can be fun at some points.
"Very." I say nodding.
Brett smiles and turns to Natalie and Beatrice. They start talking and I zone out of course.
I was bored out of my mind and was waiting for my dad to yell our names to leave or even get a call from someone on my phone so I can excuse myself outside.
But no, nothing happened and I had to sit there for an whole hour listening to a conversation I didn't even get half of the time.
"Nice meeting you all." Brett says before closing the door.

We decided to go get dinner and call it a day. We were all tired and had work tomorrow that we couldn't wait to hit our heads on our pillows and just fall asleep.
"Nice of you to let us keep the conversation going." Natalie says chuckling. "Hey you guys were talking about our dads business, I don't know most of the stuff he does, just sell tv's." I say.
"Very true." Beatrice says. "Exactly." I say nodding as we sit down at our table.
"What?" I ask as everyone stares at me. "Your ring, it's gone." Dad says. "I know." I say picking up my menu. "What? Did you guys call it off?" He asks.
"It's hard at the moment." I say flipping through the menu. "How? What's wrong?" He asks. "We just get in fights and this time I just needed to get away from him. I left to Michelle's house and my brain and heart just told me to take off the ring." I say.
"So that's it?" Dad asks. I nod and he frowns. "Your okay though? He didn't hurt you?" He asks. "Of course not. Not in a million years would Jonathan dare to hit me. Have you seen how big my family is? And how protective they are over everyone?" I ask.
"Yes of course, Patrick would punch his two front teeth out." Dad says chuckling. "Yes he would." I say smiling.

When I get back to Michelle's house I decided to go home. I missed Jonathan. I missed us.I slipped back my ring on, and packed my belongings.
I thanks Michelle and Cody for letting me stay with them before leaving.
When I get home Jonathan was on the couch watching yesterday's game and writing things down.
When the door shuts he turns to it and widens his eyes. "Alina." He says surprised. "Hi." I say placing my bags on the floor.
"Your back?" He asks standing up. I nod and he smiles walking to me. "I missed you so much baby, and I'm sorry for what I said. I love you." He says pulling me into a hug.
I smile and breath in his cologne that I have grown to love. "I love and miss you too." I say as he kisses me.
"What are you doing?" I ask as he picks me up and carries me to the couch. "I was watching yesterday's game and listening all the mistakes we made." He says sitting me down on his lap.
"Sounds boring." I say. "That's your opinion. It's very fun actually." He says grabbing his pen and notepad.
"Ouch." I say as Jonathan gets checked by one of the other players. "Shush." He says rolling his eyes. I smile and he smiles back at me.
This was how life was supposed to be. Even though we fought a lot, it was my version of perfect.
