Amanda's POV:

"Alright Amanda, if there is anything, just dial 9-1-1. When you want to visit your friend, Emma, just go to the receptionist and tell them your name, Amanda Light." The nurse, Trish, I think explained. I nodded my head.

"Okay, your mom has your pain killers. Take one in the morning, and before you go to bed take one. No more than one, if you do please contact us right away." Trish continued.

"Alright." I mumbled.

"Try not to have any stress for a few months. Also, come back once every two weeks for a check up okay. That's about it." Trish finished.

"Okay, thank you for your help." I thanked.

Trish chuckled, "No problem, it's what we do."

I cracked a smile as my mom walked over to us.

"Alright, hun, you're all signed out. We can go home." My mom said, putting a hand on my shoulder. The word home sent shivers down my spine.

"What's home like?" I asked.

"Well, it's small. There is a kitchen and a living room connected to each other. In the kitchen there is a hallway where your room is and across from your bedroom is the bathroom. Than in the living room, there is a door and that is my room. Knock before you enter, and there is no garage though." My mom explained when we reached the car in the parking lot.

I opened up the newly unlocked door, and slid in and strapped in.

My mom got in on the other side and in a second or two I heard a click.

"All strapped up?" My mom asked.

I nodded while saying, "Yup."

"Okay." My mom said and the car started to move.

I'm going home.

--

I walked through the door trailing my mother. As I walked through the small hallway my mom was leading me through, I looked at the picture frames. There was one with three girls, they looked happy and about 14 in dresses. One of the blonds and brunettes were in blue dresses and the second blonde was in a tan dress.

"Who are they?" I asked my mom, pointing to the picture.

"Oh, that was you, Emma, and Nikki. Nikki is the one in the tan dress, the other brunette is Emma and you are the blond in the blue." my mom said, pointing to each one as she spoke.

"What was the occasion?" I asked.

"A dance," My mom answered, "Okay, come on, your room is right around the corner."

I nodded and we continued walking. We entered the kitchen and my mom took a right and she continued until we reached the hallway she was talking about on our way to the parking lot.

She opened up a door and I walked inside the room and scanned it.

The walls were painted a light blue and the ceiling was white. There was a small bed in the corner of the room with white sheets and a blue comforter. The rug was white and there was a small white desk and a white dresser a few feet away from a closet.

I stepped in and walked to my bed and sat down. I lifted up the covers and crawled in and curled up into a ball and rested my head on the pillow covered by a baby blue pillow case.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, the scent of vanilla filling my nostrils.

"Mom, I need to get to Emma's!" I yelled, getting my blue dress from the hanger.

"Yeah, I know Amanda, I just need to get my shoes on!" My mom called back.

"Okay!" I yelled. I grabbed my vanilla perfume off my dresser and sprayed it in the air just to smell the wonderful sent.

"Amanda, are you coming!" My mom asked, poking her head in the doorway. I nodded my head and threw my perfume in the bag and walked after my mom.

I opened my eyes and called out for my mom.

"Yes, sweetie?" She asked, drying her hands on a green dish towel.

"I had a memory." I said.

"That's great, honey, what was it?" My mom asked, coming over and sitting on the edge of my bed.

I explained the short memory I had by smelling the perfume.

"That's great! We're getting there. Okay, I'm making your favorite dinner, spaghetti and meatballs." My mom said.

"Okay, that's alright. I'm just a bit tired. I think I'm going to take a nap." I said. My mom nodded and left my room. I closed my eyes, letting sleep take over me.

(NEXT DAY)

I put my bowl and spoon in the sink and made my way to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

"Amanda, I was thinking today I would take you to Bridge Street, to see if that would bring back any memories." My mom said, looking at me when I exited the bathroom.

"Okay, sounds good." I smiled and walked across the hallway into my bedroom. I closed and locked the door and walked over to the closet to put on some clothes for the day out.

After a while of looking, I decided on a tan sweatshirt with grey lines going down. Skinny jeans and brown high heel boots. With two necklaces and earrings that look like bells and a brown bag. (Outfit on the side -->)

I walked out of my bedroom and walked down the hardwood floor, my heels clicking on the wood.

"Ready?" My mom asked, standing by the door leading to the outside world.

Yup." I said, nodding my head.

"Okay, let's go."

--

My mom led me into a store called The Book Nook.

"Bring back any memories?" She asked.

"Hi mom, guess what? I won an award for reading when I'm not supposed to so I got 100 dollars to The Book Nook." I told my mom smiling.

I nodded, "I won 100 dollars to this place."

My mom nodded and we walked around, hoping for more memories but none came.

We exited the building and my mom led me to a place filled with grass and on it was a tank and a gazebo.

"Bring back any memories?" My mom asked.

I shook my head, "No."

She nodded but kept going towards another store.

She opened up the door and we walked in. The library.

"No."

That's how it went for the rest for the day.

There was no more memories after The Book Nook.

So shitty, I'm sorry. God, I'm just not in the writing mood. Not big, just a filler. Amanda's remembering! YAY!

Sorry, don't judge...
