Chapter 21: First Week

It's been a week since my baby was born and I was too happy but Bruno was very very over the hill for her. Ever since she was born he became more sensitive probably because it's his second baby and wanted to be more protective than ever.

I was at home sitting in bed feeding Kailani while Bruno took Alia out of a daddy daughter date which was probably good because we've been focusing more on Kailani and we didn't want Alia to feel abandoned.

My phone rings and it's an unknown number but I answer anyway.

"Hello?", I asked
"Bella, where are you?" Jack asked.
"I'm at home."
"Has anything unusual happened today?"
"Not really. Why?"

He starts to tell that Dee has been kidnapped and he doesn't know where she was.

"Shit! Jack, please keep me informed. I can't get there right now but I'll be there asap.", I gasped

"Thank you, Bella. And be vigilant. I have a feeling I know who did this and when I get my hands on him, I'm gonna kill him."

I hang up on him and realize I need to call the security guard now. I dial Joe, Bruno's body guard, and tell him to come and put surveillance cameras around the house.

After I burped Kailani I go downstairs with her in my arms.

"Ah, hell is about to break loose", I say to myself as I pace

There's a knock at the door and I answer it. It was Joe and the surveillance team.

"Hey, Bella where's the Singer?", He asks
"With his 1st born", I laugh
"And that must be Kailani", he says
"Yep", I say and smiled at her
"Okay, where do you want the cameras?", he asks
"Living room, dining room, all around the outside of the house, Alias room, and garage. I think that should do it", I say
"Okay, we're gonna start with the perimeter then work our way in", he says

I nodded. I go into the kitchen and lay Kailani down in her play bassinet. I went to my bedroom to get my phone so I can call Presley to see how she's doing.

"Hello?", she answers with a raspy voice
"Hey, babe you okay?", I ask concerned
"Yeah, I'm just not feeling good with this baby in me", she sighs
"Oh, sweetie do you want to come over here to get your mind off of things?", I asked
"Maybe in an hour", she says
"Alright, just text me when your ready and I'll come get you", I say
She starts breathing in and out slightly."alright"
"Presley what's wrong?", I asked
"He's just growing that's all. He was stretching my belly out finally", She chuckles

I giggle.

"I'll see you later", I say
"Yeah"

She hangs up just as Bruno walks in with Alia.

"Mommy!", Alia sang and she runs to me and I pick her up
"Hey, baby", I say and kissed her head
"Daddy to me to the zoo and then we went to the beach to see whales ", she said
"Oh really, go put your stuff in your room okay", I say and set her down

She scattered to her room, I look at Bruno, and he smiles.

"Hey", I smiled
"Hey, baby squirrel", he says and kisses my head

He goes over to Kailani and picks her up. He smiles at her and goes to the back porch.

"Babe, what's going on?", he asks
"I'm having Joe put in cameras because I think we needed just in case something happens", I explain

I didn't want him to know that Dee was missing.

"Um, I have a dinner meeting to go to later okay", He says
"With?", I asked
"About a record. I won't be out long", he says and looked around

Fuck that. Every time he lies he look around I'm following his ass tonight.

"Okay", I smiled

Later night...

Me and Presley were in my black car across the street from Pasta Roma. Where Bruno was hypothetically meeting a record dealer. My kids were being watched my Tahiti who wanted to spend time with them so she at the house with her and my kids.

"Bella, why are we here?", Presley asks
"Because your brother started acting shady again", I say
"There he is right there", She says

I look up and yep I see Bruno walking to a table and he sits with a woman. I didn't do anything at first because there are woman record dealers.

"See, he's not doing....oh, um, Bella I'm hungry let's go to Burger King or something", Presley says

I look at her.

"What?", I ask
"I'm hungry let's go to Burger King", she said and starts scratching herself

She starts breathing rapidly and I look back at where Bruno was...Then I see Jessica. How many times is he going to keep doing this to me.

"Bella", she says as I started the car
"Are you hungry?", I ask trying to get my mind right

She didn't answer so I assume she was. I go to the drive thru and order a whole bunch of food because I remembered there were people at my house.

"Bella please talk to me", she says
"I don't know what to say Presley...Maybe this wasn't meant to be...Me and him", I say
"Yes you were meant to be...its just that-"
"He needs help....was Jessica or any other girlfriend like this towards him?", I ask
"Um...High school and a girl before Jessica", she says
"Was she like this...Jessica I mean"
"She may have kissed someone but that was it she was a loyal bitch", she says

I chuckled.

"So all his love lives have been cheating on him...so that's all he knows and he thinks it's okay though he knows it's wrong but he can't help it...I think he waiting for me to cheat like he expects me to do something like his previous. So since I didn't do anything he felt the need to do it himself", I explain
"And you say it wasn't meant to be...Bella don't you see you were made for him", she says

I shrug my shoulders.

"Well, if I was to leave him. I bet he'll start needing when I'm with someone else other than him", I say

I gasped. That's it, that's my new song, and I was going to sing it.
