Chapter 10: Admission

We all decided to go home a day early and we were all going to meet up for the Super Bowl for Bruno's half time performance. Bruno, Alia, and I were in Bruno's car going home and it was a quiet ride to the house.

"Um, so should we set up an appointment for you?", He asks breaking the silence

"I guess", I sigh

We enter through the gate and I notice there were lights on. Which was odd I remember turning them off when we left... Maybe one of the housekeepers were here and was just cleaning or something.

"Home sweet home", I say and got out.

Bruno also gets out and takes sleeping Alia out of the car and we make our way to the front door. As I get closer I heard laughter.

"Who is here?", I asked Bruno

"Oh, um"

Before he could finish I opened the door and I see Deedee on the couch with some boy.

"Deedee what the hell are you doing here?", I asked calmly

She stands and so does the boy."Bruno said we could stay here", she explains

"Why are you here?", I asked again

"Dad kicked me out and Deaks parents kicked him out...because-"

"Are you fucking pregnant?", I asked

She didn't have to say anything her face said it all.

"First of all, your only what 17 and your having sex and your pregnant with this boy who I don't know?", I spat in rage

"You were having sex with Johnny at this age!" She says

I stalk towards her."I don't know who you think your talking to but for one you need to get your facts straight I didn't have sex with him until I was out of the house and in college. What's different between you and I was I was taking the shot and I doubt your on the pill.", I sneered

"Bella, we don't have-"

"You think I care right now. I'm not in the right of mind to be worried about you two, taking care of a toddler, working shit out with Bruno, and oh not to mention I have o get ready for this new baby. Yeah you think you got it bad and you don't ", I say and turned and walked to me room.

"Bella-"

"You guys can stay just don't bother me", I spat before I left the room

~DeeDee's POV~

"What the hell have you done to her?" I hiss at Bruno.

He goes to open his mouth but I stop him.

"Stay in here and get to know Deak. I'm gonna go and fix whatever mess you've made."

I go into my sister's bedroom and find her on the bed crying.

"Bella, please talk to me," I plead as I sit on the bed and begin to stroke her hair.

She sits up, looks at me and wipes her face and eyes.

"We always used to talk. What's wrong?"

She tells me everything.

"That bastard. He knew what Kevin did to you and yet he still hurt you. Want me to kick his butt?"

This makes her laugh a little which makes me smile.

"Why didn't you tell me all this? I would have come straight here and helped you while you were pregnant. I'd do anything for you sis."

"I know but I couldn't burden you with my drama. You were only 13."

"I was old enough to keep you company."

"You're so sweet, Dee, I love you so much."

We hug.

"Well I'm hear now and I'm not going anywhere. I'll do whatever you need me too but there's something you need to know first."

"Babe, come here," Bruno calls from the other room.

"I'm busy," she calls back.

"No, you really need to see this, quick."

She sighs so the two of us go into the living room where he has the TV on.

"Look," he says so I watch the news report.

'There are still no suspects in the murder of 29 year old Kevin James but police are interviewing neighbours and have put out another plea for witnesses.'

I look at Deak.

"I guess he finally upset the wrong person," Bruno says but Bella is looking at me.

"What did you do?" she asks.

"Bella, don't be ridiculous," Bruno says. "Your sister wouldn't hard a fly."

"We saw him in a club and he was bragging about what he did to you and he was taking money off some guy. He was selling you, Bells. He needed to be stopped."

~Bella's POV~

Hearing this, I run to the bathroom and throw up before I sit next to the toilet and cry. Bruno and Dee come in. Bruno sits with me and I lay my head on his shoulder as Dee stands in the doorway.

"I'm sorry, Bells," Dee says.

"How?" I manage to ask before I throw up again.

"Do you really want to know?"

I nod.

"I need to know."

"We followed him from the club and confronted him. He demanded we leave or he'd kill us. I warned him if he went near you I would kill him myself. He laughed which made Deak mad but I managed to stop him going for Kevin. Less than a second later, Kevin picks up a knife and stabbed me but I'd been taking self defense classes and going to the gym with Deak so I'm pretty strong. I stumbled a little but Deak caught me. As Kevin came at us again, I pulled knife out of myself and stabbed him. He fell so despite bleeding myself, I pulled the knife out of him and slit his throat."

Me and Bruno stare at her in shock.

"I'm sorry Bella."

I'm still in shock and throw up again.

"And nobody saw you go in or leave?" Bruno asks.

"They couldn't have done," she says.

"Are you okay?" I ask as I stand. "You said he stabbed you."

"Yeah, he didn't cause too much damage and I needed stitches but he also just missed the baby."

I pull her into a hug.

"Thank you," I say.

"Bella, she killed somebody," Bruno says. "She needs to turn herself in."

I throw him a dirty look.

"Nobody is turning her in, she did everyone a favour and I for one am grateful."

I lead her into the other room.

~Bruno's POV~

I was hard enough to believe that this little girl who screams and threw her arms round me when we first met had actually killed somebody. I know it's somebody who deserved it but even so. Yet I'm more shocked that Bella is okay with this and wants to protect her sister.

I take out my phone and dial.

"Presley, I need your help," I say.
