Chapter 31: Unstable

The next day...

I was still in the hospital unfortunately, I heard that Dee went back to Seattle with mom, and Bruno went home last night. I still was stuck here but runtime I woke up Presley was there right beside me. Like today.

"Bruno is bringing Alia and Kailani here today", she says and puts her phone down.
"Good, I haven't seen Alia in a while", I smile
"Did you read your get well cards?", she asks
"I read some of them. Those hooligans are the sweetest", I say

There's a knock on the door and I sit up.

"Come in", I say

The door opens and Alia skips in with a ballon that says Get well mommy in her hand. She hops onto the bed and sits on my legs which makes me wince.

"Alia, remember I said you have to be careful with mommy", Bruno says
"Hey mommy", Alia says and hugs me tightly
"Hey, baby", I say and kissed her head
"I missed you so much"
"So have I", I say and felt tears in my eyes

I held her tightly for a few moments before I let go of her.

"When are you coming home?"
"In a few more days mommy is still getting better", I assure

She sighs.

"Can I watch spongebob?" She asks

I nodded and Presley turns it on. Bruno hands me Kailani without saying a word to me. Kailani was awake and she was looking at me with those big brown eyes.

"Hello, Kailani", I cooed

I take her sweater off because it was a bit too warm in here.

"So are you guys going to talk to each other or just ignore one another?", Presley says
"I haven't forgotten what happened before the kidnapping", I say
"I'm not listening to this shit", Bruno says and leaves the room

I just sigh and start to cry, I lay Kailani down on the bed, and went to the bathroom. I just cried silently away from the kids. There's knocking on the door but I made sure the door was locked.

"Bella?", Bruno says
"Go away", I whimper
"Bella open the door", he says
"I don't want to see you", I say
" then open the door with your eyes closed", he directed

I sigh. I cover my eyes, unlocked and open the door, and went and sat on the toilet lid. I hear the door closed and he sighs.

"Babe"

I didn't say anything.

"Baby squirrel"

I remove my hands and looked at him.

"What do you want", I ask
"I don't think I can be near you for awhile", he says

I look at him oddly.

"Not like that I mean sexually", he says
"Who says we're having sex any time soon. Why would I want to have sex when I was just raped multiple-"
"Please don't...it already hurts to hear the my wife and sister in law were both violated in such a way. Not to mention I was one of the violators", he sighs
"I'm just mad that you and Jessica were together again"
"Bella it wasn't even like that", he states
"Why were y'all together?"
"To discuss play dates for the girls", he says
"And you couldn't tell me that because?"
"You were going to flip the fuck out that's why I didn't tell you", he says
"I don't care right now. I'm trying to recover from all of this so I'm not talking to you about this anymore. You made your decision to go talk to that woman without discussing it with me and that untrustworthy of you to do some bullshit like that to me", I say and leave the bathroom.

I go and lay down next to Kailani who had fallen asleep.

"Alia time to go", Bruno says
"Okay, daddy", she says
"I'll pick Kailani up later", He says

I didn't say anything, he sighs, and leaves.

"What's happened?", Presley asks
"He was telling me he can't be near me sexually which was understandable for both of us then we talked about the Jessica thing", I say
"What did you say exactly?"
"I said that he decided to her not me and it made not trust him again"

She sighs.

"I don't know how it's going to be when I go home", I sigh
