Happy New Year to all of you!
I'm sorry today's update isn't a great one. I'll make it up to you. (I'll probably receive a lecture from uuuuume9909 for this.)

For those of you who don't know, C. L. Stone has released the second part of Kota's POV of Meeting Sang.

Anyways, I hope you all have a great year ahead!

Lots of love from YellowThief

"That's my fucking family in there! I can't just fucking wait around in your goddamn car," Gabriel protested, not backing down. I hid my smirk.
"They want you. If you go in there, Greg and his friends get they want," I warned.
"Luke, stop playing with Gabriel," Sang said from the passenger seat, then she turned towards Gabriel, "Luke's not North. North would've yelled at you to stay," she offered him one of her comforting smiles, "Don't worry. We'll get them together, Gabriel."

For a while, there was no response. Worried, I looked at him through the rear-view mirror. I let out a chuckle in relief. He was staring at Sang, and I knew why.

I knew he liked her. You always find the girl you like beautiful, but when she shows more of herself, you get stunned. And Sang is completely stunning. Who could blame Gabriel for staring at her with an astounded expression?

Parking behind the abandoned school building, we got out. I let Sang lead the way while I pulled Gabriel behind and murmured to him.

"We can check her out together after this. Try to focus, and do as we say. " I paused, studying the building, "While Sang and I can be very sneaky, I don't know how quiet you can be, but you should be alright with us," I said, then added an afterthought with a wink, "If you want, after this, I can send you some of her pictures that you'll like. So make it back out in one piece."
He grinned slyly at me, "Of fucking coarse."

"Where do we start?" Sang mumbled as we got to the back of the building. Looking through the windows, we found that it wasn't quite a pretty sight. Maybe an exciting place if you're into ghosts and spiders.

"I fucking hope there are no spiders in there," Gabriel muttered.
Okay.
Never mind.

The building itself was pretty dull, no architectural speciality. The inside was even more miserable. And dusty.

"That's one shitastic building," I heard Gabriel say. I had to hold in a laugh as it wasn't the appropriate time to be appreciating his colourful language.

We were circling the building, checking the windows. So far, we didn't see or hear anyone. We were just about to enter the building when Gabriel spoke up.

"You guys are freaking parkour experts. Why don't you just climb the second floor. Nobody will be expecting that shit. And you'll cover more ground in a shorter amount of time. Besides, I don't think they'll be keeping the guys in the gymnasium."

Sang and I looked at each other indecisively. He wasn't supposed to catch on.

"Hey, I want to know what you're saying about me," Gabriel huffed, but he had a smirk on his face.
"Gabriel," Sang began, looking hesitant, "Let's just start from here."
Gabriel narrowed his eyes at her," You do know that you're an open book, right? All these days you had on those shitty glasses and that shitty hairstyle, but now, you don't."

Her checks tinted a light shade of red, making me want to kiss her. She would have blushed harder if she wasn't already worried about North and the others.

"Okay, here's the thing," I said, "climbing the second floor is too dangerous for you. Normally I'd have no problem taking you there, but there are hardly any edges to hold on to. And it's pretty high. So we're starting from here."
Gabriel's mouth formed an 'O'.
"So it's because of me. You should've fucking said so earlier," he grumbled then looked up at the building. He turned to look us dead in the eye.

"This will be a piece of cake."

...

...

...

"Hell yes!"
"Luke!"
"Please, Cupcake! Look, I'll be standing here until you guys get in."
"Cupcake?"
"Fine."
"You call her Cupcake?"

Not doing bad, Coleman. His slim structure and flexibility helped. While he was lean, he was strong too. He was following Sang pretty well, stepping on the edges carefully. Rather than going upwards, it was moving sideways that was actually harder. When he slipped occasionally, I prepared to cushion his fall, but he always retrieved his balance.

This might be the faster method, but North would totally kill me. Certain risks had to be taken though, and Gabriel was determined.

At last, they reached the destined window. Sang got in first and helped him up. He must be feeling so out of breath now. But he just saved us some valuable time.

I quickly climbed the building, following the route Sang took. Slipping inside, I saw that it was probably a classroom. There was a desk and a few chairs covered in dust, but nothing else. The windows were covered with ragged sheets; daylight crept in through the sides and the holes.

We depended heavily on Sang's hearing range as we walked warily through the dark hallways and around corners. Papers lay here and there on the floor. Lockers appeared beaten up. Plaster was peeling off from a few places.

"Someone's in one of those classrooms," Sang warned.

As we approached the classrooms, I started hearing the voices too.

"What's Greg gonna do with them? We don't need a mother-fucking weed supply. This is so much work."
"I don't know man. We've never gone this far. Selling bitches... Isn't that illegal?"
"I think it's illegal in Canada."
"Who knows. Why isn't Greg calling that mother-fucker yet?"

Five guys. How do we pass by them without getting noticed? They were stupid... Even so, what are we risking? Can't they just tell us where the guys are being kept?

"Why is Greg keeping them at the lab?"

Well ... That was easy.

"Maybe because he locked a bitch in there once. Good memories."

"Let's go find the lab," Sang whispered. Gabriel and I followed her while Greg's friends talked on. It would be so much more convenient if these idiots just gave out the location too.

"Let's go check on them asses."
"You go. Don't wanna walk all the way to the other side."

Sang, Gabriel and I looked at each other. I sighed. Either these guys had undeveloped brain-cells or I had superpowers.

Surely enough, the sensitive information was valid as we noticed a sign that said 'Laboratory'. Someone was shouting.

"What the fuck do you mean? You better be swearing on your mama's name."
"Heh. She's tricking you. She is going to take all the credit. You won't even be getting a cigarette." That was North's voice. Good. He's tricking them. He's probably talking about that Jade person.

So this is why Greg hasn't made the call yet. North was distracting him and putting him off track.

"I'm alerting Dr. Phil," Sang said, "He should be sending people after us if we don't make it back out in forty-five minutes."
I nodded. Gabriel looked like he wanted to ask something but refrained.
I tried to figure out what we could do while Sang sent Dr. Phil the update.

I spotted a window not far from where we were standing. An idea popped up.

"Hey Gabriel," I called, "Still up for window climbing?"
