Not waiting to witness the happy reunion, Sang and I snuck towards the former-lab entrance to listen to any sign of Greg and his friends returning. Greg's voice wasn't very far away. He could return any moment. Oh damn, he's coming.

Sang and I shared a look. We should immediately hide.

Expecting at least one guy being untied, we turned around to find six pairs of wide, analysing eyes, one smirk and one frown (guess who).

That's when I realized that Sang and I were our super hot, sexy, attractive, mouth-watering, delightful, captivating, enticing, dreamy, seductive, dazzling, exquisite, drop-dead gorgeous selves.

Okay, they were checking out Sang more. But I am still a pretty nice-looking guy. Unfortunately for them, this was not the appropriate time to let their eyes wander all over Sang. I felt a surge of pride. Gabriel couldn't stop smirking while he untied Victor. How many times did Victor gulp? Mr. Blackbourne was checking every detail. He is... kind of scary. Silas didn't blink once. Dr. Green didn't even glance at me once, and I take serious offense to that. I was worried about Nathan not breathing. Why was Kota squinting? Why did he look like so uncertain? Something looked odd about him. Oh. Right. He didn't have his glasses on. It's a good thing that Sang was too cautious at the moment notice their dreamy looks and be embarrassed. I saw that she was studying the big shelf right beside the door. She gave me a look that said that it was good enough.

"Alright, alright. I know I'm fabulous," I said, managing to break them out of their trance, causing some to grin and some to blush. You wouldn't even know they were kidnapped. "Gabriel, come here."

Raising an eyebrow, he made his way over to Sang and me. Sang nodded at me, indicating that she was ready. I didn't break break eye-contact with her, knowing we started mentally counting down together. Reaching zero, we both grabbed Gabriel's black and orange t-shirt with one hand, jumped, and used the other to grab the edge of the shelf, pulling ourselves, and Gabriel in the process, up on the shelf just in time as the doorknob turned. I was worried the shelf would start wobbling, but that didn't happen. It was heavy enough.

Thanks goodness his t-shirt didn't tear.

The others below us had their jaws on the floor. But that was nothing compared to the perfect 'O' that was Gabriel's mouth. And his blood-drained face. It felt like I was looking at a corpse beside me.

The door opened and in came one of Greg's friends. The guys immediately looked away from us and acted like they didn't just see two people jumping onto a shelf and dragging their friend with them.

"You guys are talking. We should have fucking put duct tape over your lousy fucking mouths."

Gabriel seemed to have recovered as he put a hand over his heart. Sang rested a hand over his shoulder.

"Maybe you should just shut the fuck up," North said as he got up in a flash and punched the guy square in the face. Ouch. He must have untied the ropes himself. The guy fell back backwards, but before he hit the ground, North grabbed his t-shirt and punched him in the gut, causing him to land on the floor on his back, and not headfirst. When he opened his mouth, North slammed his palm over it, stopping him from making a sound.
"Holy shit," Gabriel muttered.
Glad to have him back.
And here I was about to jump down and help my brother, but he didn't need that.

I noticed some movement from the corner of my eye and saw Victor helping Kota out of the ropes. Then they both proceeded to untie Mr. Blackbourne and Silas.

"Here's what you'll do," North told the guy he was now tying up, "You won't utter a word. If you do, you'll fucking wish you were dead instead."
The poor guy nodded vigorously.
North took out a cellphone from the loose shorts his victim was wearing.
"How many are here in this building?" he asked.
"T-Twelve."
"What are their names?"
"R-Ryan, Jake, Evan, Samuel, Car-"
"Got it," North interrupted as he typed into the cellphone. It looked like he texted some of them.
Ah, now I get it.
North gave me a look. Then hesitantly looked at Sang. But Sang's strong gaze made him confident. He nodded.
