Since it's new year... and I don't know how to rant about new year, I'm gonna rant about the Christmas and/or New Year in Naruto Fanfics.
And I'm talking about the real Narutoverse, like where chakra exists. I'm positive they don't celebrate Christmas or New Year there! Yes, there is snow, but NO Christmas!
AUs are fine with Christmas with Naruto Characters.
But Narutoverse?!? Nuh-uh!
Christmas DOES NOT EXIST THERE! I'm not gonna stop until you get this in you're head. If you write books like this...
If you were Kishimoto then it's fine to put Christmas. But you aren't!
Plus...
Most cold-hearted characters in the anime series are becoming soft, mushy marshmallow. Which is making them TOTALLY out of character!
Instead of them: 'He frowned, turning away letting his back face the girl, and left the girl rejected.', it's: 'He stretched his lip sidewards, got the present and thanked while leaving.'
Seriouslyyyyyy?!?
And when it comes to AUs, that, let's say, Sasuke's parents are alive and also Itachi didn't betray them, then...
WHY IS SASUKE SO EFFIN' COLD?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! HUH?!?!?!?!?!
Makes sense?
Sasuke is only cold in the series that's because his parents are killed by his brother. But, on AUs where his parents and brother are alive and well, why is he a snobbish b*tch huh?!? Huh?!?
I got a little bit out of topic and I kinda lost my cool (which is because I found something that drove me literally mad). Sorry about that.
But seriously, for authors who writes in the Narutoverse, please, NO Christmas and NO New Year. For AUs that cold hearted people aren't supposed to be cold-hearted, please, make them not cold hearted cause they aren't!!!
