ISAIAH
Cold, slender fingers hastily unbuttoned the top of my polo and a second after, wet kisses were showered on my exposed neck. I just stared at the board in front of us, not actually seeing anything. I could hear chatters and murmurs around me but it felt like they were so far away.
Different scents were everywhere; a mix of werewolves', humans' and strong perfumes. But only one stood out, a scent of a werewolf from my pack which belonged to the girl who was straddling me and was now nipping the skin along my collarbone.
I didn't really care much. I didn't even mind that we were in our classroom and my classmates were probably watching us right now. My mind was filled with only one person, the beautiful girl who took my heart last night.
I went back to the party last night, grinning from ear to ear like a stupid man. I even went to the extent of hugging every person I see. A few found it irking but most had the guts to hug me back. It must be a rare occasion for an Alpha to do a 'hugging session' on the middle of a party.
However, when I woke up this morning, sadness and pain started to settle on my chest. I just realized that I didn't even know her full name and the place where she lives. The bracelet should have eased me from the burden of looking for her because there was supposedly a connection between us.
But I was mistaken. There was none.
My scent was probably just all over her. But that was just it.
The pain I have in my heart was not because I didn't have the power to look for her... It was from the fact that she was not mine from the start... that she was not my mate.
The rising agony in my chest was suddenly interrupted when an eager hand started to travel on my inner thigh, threatening to brush over my groin.
I immediately grabbed the girl's hand, hindering it from going any further. "Move," I said and pushed her away gently.
She pouted at me. "I just want to cheer you up a bit," she said and reached for the hem of my undershirt with her other hand, trying to stroke her fingers on my skin.
"I'm not in the mood today, Ti---"
What's her name again? Tiffany? Tinsley? Tiara?
I cleared my throat, hiding my confusion about her name. "Just move, okay? Babe?"
Her squinted, sharp eyes suddenly beamed after hearing my endearment. "Okay, I'll let this pass. But tell me if you want to... you know..." She winked at me before giving me a smack squarely at the lips. She pulled away completely and stood up from my lap.
I watched her walk away from the classroom, her hips swaying and head held high, ignoring the envious looks thrown by girls around her.
Now that I think of it... Where did I meet her?
An orange shirt suddenly came into my line of view, pulling me out of my thoughts. I looked up and saw Chester grinning at me, his slick brown hair sticking on the frame of his rounded glasses. His white polo was nowhere in sight, just a drink on his left hand and a couple of books tucked under his arms.
