ISAIAH

Squeezing the thighs wrapped around my torso, I trailed my lips down over the crook of her neck and sucked the moist skin gently. Her slender fingers tightened its grip on my shoulders in response, moaning loudly on my left ear. My body began to heat up and I just found myself pulling her more, making our bodies impossibly pressed on each other. Her rapid heartbeat pounded against my chest, making me smile to myself.

I opened my eyes a little and peeked at the girl in front of me. She is a human but her beauty could match with the women from my pack. Her heavy-lidded eyes were closed and her plump lips were parted, inviting me to plunge in that luscious cavern.

In their own accord, my hands snaked along her sleek back until they reached her nape. Not wasting any precious time, I pushed her roughly against a tree behind her, ignoring her audible gasp. 

My lips was about to meet hers when a voice suddenly reverberated inside my head. 'Hey, man. You're needed on the west side of the woods. Adam picked up a strange scent.'

Ignoring it, I started tasting the sweet mouth of the girl I just met on the party hosted by our pack. I usually don't blend with humans but this one made me think otherwise. She had been very suggestive with me - but in a cute, irresistible way, mind you- which ignited my aggressive side.  

'Restrain your raging junior first, dude,' the voice insisted on my head, sounding impatient. 'This deceiving scent may not be the usual one.'

Deceiving? 

With so much difficulty, I pulled away from our heated kiss, groaning. My hands, however, stayed on cupping her butt firmly.  She opened her eyes, confused on the sudden interruption. I stared back at her but my mind was now elsewhere.

Adam is our pack's best tracker. He never makes a mistake about a scent the moment it entered his nostrils. He always knows in an instant what and who it was, even if he's a few miles away. He's one of the reasons why our pack never had problems with surprised attacks.

But what was exactly going on that even my Beta's voice was laced with panic?

Endless questions started to flood my mind but they were suddenly cut off when a pair of small hands cupped my face. Before I knew it, the human girl was already resuming our kiss. Being the fool I was, I let myself get drown by her seducing touch and set aside the rising problem. My calloused hands automatically squeezed her soft bottoms, taking the opportunity to grind myself against her.   

'Cosher! Stop now, or I'll be telling this to Phoebe!'

I roughly tore myself away from the human, growling loudly when my wolf stirred angrily from the authority used against me. The girl, who looked disappointed for a split, second, stared at me with wide eyes after hearing my growl.

But I couldn't care less. I was more than pissed off. 

'This gonna be a real emergency or you're a dead man, Pennington,' I said to the voice in my head, a large nerve in my neck pulsing.
