MYSTERY GIRL

Chapter 6

                 She's gone forever. I don't see her at school at her house, so I know that someone took her. And that someone is the same person who killed Natalie. It's hard to believe that Skylar Lane, the girl who loves mysteries, just became one.
And I'm gonna solve it for my Partner.

I stare at the newspaper with the picture of Skylar that reads: "MISSING GIRL NOT FOUND AFTER WEEKS."
Jase and Lily see me and walk to me.
"Hey, buddy," Jase says.
"I can't believe she's still gone," Lily chokes back tears,"We never got to take the group selfie."
"NOWS NOT THE TIME FOR JOKES!," I shout at her. I step back," I'm sorry."
"I understand," Lily says," We need to find her."
"But we don't know who took her," Jase says.
"We DO know that whoever took her took her because they found out that she's finding more about Natalie's murder," I say.
"What do you know about the killer?," Lily asks.
"The killer threatened Natalie when she was hiding in a warehouse in Brenndale," I reply.
Just then, as if it were a miracle, Chuck runs up to us.
"Guys!," he gasps," I found something at Natalie's hideout! A camera! It could have recorded who wrote that message!"
"And we can find out who the killer is," Jase says.
I grin.

At Chuck's house, he loads the footage from the camera onto his computer.
It shows Natalie hiding there for a while. But, when she's sleeping, a person in a hoodie comes and spray- paints the message on the wall.
"There they are!," I shout.
The hooded figure turns around and we all gasp when we see who it is.
It's Austin.
