MYSTERY GIRL

Chapter 8

                  "We need to talk to Teresa," I tell Jase and Lily once we get to my house.
"But first we need sleep," Jase suggests.
"Can we sleep over?", Lily asks.
"Sure!," I reply.
"Let's watch Titanic!," Lily squeals.
"Nah, we're good," me and Jase laugh.

In the morning, me, Jase and Lily walk to The Cafe' we always go to for breakfast.
"Last night was fun!," Lily smiles.
"Not for us!," Jase remarks," You gave us makeovers!"
"In our sleep!," I add.
"I know," she says," It takes talent! #blessed!"
We all laugh. Then we see Teresa leaving The Cafe'.
"There's Teresa!," Jase says.
We run up to her.
"Teresa!," I shout.
"Get away from me!," she keeps walking.
"We know you killed Natalie," I state.
THAT makes her stop,"What did you just say?"
"Are you deaf?," Jase remarks,"We know you killed Natalie!"
"Why do you think that?!," she gasps.
"You blackmailed Austin to frame him," I say,"Why did you kill Natalie?"
"I don't have to tell you anything," she walks away again.
"Don't make me punch you again!," Lily shouts.
Teresa stops,"Punch me and you'll end up like Natalie."
Chills go down my spine as Teresa walks away.
Jase follows her.
"What are you doing?," I ask.
"We have to follow her!," Jase says.
And that's what we do.

We follow Teresa all the way to an alley.
"I'm glad we could meet," Teresa says to someone,"Do you think we should have framed Austin?"
"It was the right to do," I recognize  the voice.
