The atmosphere was strange, different. It was as if there was something about to explode.
Liam could feel it and he could sense it, but he couldn't explain what it was and why it was happening. All he knew was that Stiles and Scott had not being saying anything to each other. All he knew was that Stiles had been ignoring him completely. "Scott?"
Scott turned his head towards his beta and Liam could see how his muscles tensed. It was as if Scott was about to have an asthma attack, although he was still breathing normally.
"What's wrong?" Liam asked.
Scott took a deep breath and shook his head. "Nothing..."
Liam didn't believe him for a second. Everything was wrong and he knew it. A part of him was hurt by the fact that his Alpha, his friend, didn't trust him enough to explain what had happened. Liam knew for sure that something had happened. Just like he knew for sure that it was far from good.
